What I cannot understand is why anyone would want to live a lifestyle of which they are ashamed to tell anyone.
AAAAAAAAARGH! Every time I see a line like this, I just want to PUNCH BABIES! People like this schmuck do everything in their power to make sure that homosexuality is seen as the pinnacle of disgrace, and then turn around, and ask us why we'd choose to live like that if we were so ashamed. ARGH!
Wouldn't it just be easier NOT to do it?
Certainly, it would. Now why would we cognitively choose the hardest path we could. Why oh why indeed...?
There's NO such thing as I was born that way.
Really now? I'd like to see your degrees, please, as this is a hotly debated topic TO DATE.
We are an empty slate at birth on which a personality, beliefs, disbeliefs, desires, likes and dislikes are written.
Really? A friend of mine had triplets. I met them at a year old, while my partner knew them from birth. From the point that they could move, they all exhibited wildly different, distinct personalities. One a shrinking violet, one an adventurer, and one remarkably passive. Why, it's almost like their personality was determined from when they were born. Also, tell someone who cannot get their kid to eat something, no matter how hard they try that likes and dislikes are learned. Our knowledge is a blank slate from birth, but we are FAR from complete tabula rasa.
