The fundamental principle of quantum mechanics is that the underlying reality is in random fluctuation, or chaos, until there is intelligent observation of it. This is precisely what Luke 4:6 reveals when it quotes the devil, which is the word for chaos, in saying that he has dominion over this world.

But God is supposed to be everywhere and see everything (Hebrews 4:13, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."), hence all of creation should be "intelligently observed" and by your own argument no "random fluctuation" should ever exist to have been detected.
Defeated by your own strawman again, Schlafly.
Next up: Schlafly tries to disprove the Uncertainty Principle by claiming that God is omnipotent and all-knowing, therefore able to know both the exact position AND momentum of a particle simultaneously.
Shortly after, he will try to prove that black is, in fact, white, and will likely die at the next zebra crossing he comes to.
The Bible is so chock full of scientific truths.
But they're only revealed years after it's been established by the scientific method.
So, Andy, how long before you start quoting Bible passages that support evolution?
Can the scientific minds at Conservapedia hurry up a bit and find Biblical proofs for perpetual motion and FTL travel so we can get to Star Trek or Firefly as soon as possible, please?
Are you saying that the Deviil is Schroedinger's cat. or that Schroedinger's cat is the Devil? Or doen't it matter unless you are observing either the Devil or the Cat?
And since the cat must be long in the feline hereafter, can it really matter?
Oh look, Andy found the word "chaos" in the bible and applied that to a scientific theory which (presumably) mentions chaos. Unfortunately, chaos of atoms is a lot different than the social chaos among humans that the devil is supposed to bring to the world.
Honestly, it just so often appears that Andy's education never got past the 6th grade. It's like there's a short bus parked in his driveway.
(emph-ass-is added):

You obviously have never heard of "My Little Pony: Friendsip is Magic", have you eh, Andy Schaftafly...?

"The devil has dominion over conservapedia. He's the father of lies."

Oh, Andy, there you go again, trying to use big words and complex ideas. You know how this always ends, don't you?
Forgetting the crappy logic for a second, the premises aren't even true.
The fundamental principle of quantum mechanics is that the underlying reality is in random fluctuation, or chaos, until there is intelligent observation of it.
Gross misunderstanding of quantum mechanics. In fact, the wave function evolves deterministically (via the Schrödinger equation) and it is the act of observation that makes it probabilistically take an eigenstate. Though there is a school of thought that the "observer" must be conscious for quantum mechanics, this is a fringe view.
the devil, which is the word for chaos
'Devil' comes from the Ancient Greek diabolos, which means accuser or slanderer.
Andy Schafly is so ignorant, he does not know how to operate a bread box. Andy Schafly is so stupid, he sometimes screams because he thinks the clouds are going to fall on him. Andy Schafly is so idiotic, he is incapable of grasping the difference between facts and opinions. Andy Schafly is so retarded, he cannot go to the zoo without the animals laughing at his mental disability. Andy Schafly is so dishonest, he makes Bernie Madoff look like Abe Lincoln.
Andy Schlafly, the man who can't tie his own shoelaces is explaining the fundamental principle of quantum mechanics? The same fundamental principle of quantum mechanics of which the scientists involved say if you think you understand it, you don't?
Oh, ok.

I remember reading of all things, a "Perry Rhodan/Star Wars" crossover fanfic. Damned weird.
They're doing a reboot of that series, set in 2036 instead of 1971.
@Anon-e-moose : but is Discord an avatar of Tzeentch, or Tzeentch an avatar of Discord? And who are the MLP equivalents of Nurgle, Khorne and Slaanesh? :P
Also, would that make Celestia the Emprah, and Luna a version of Horus that got saved from chaotic corruption?
@Adrian
Horus saved from chaotic corruption? Didn't the God-Emperor of Mankind have to kill the guy personally?
Isn't the injuries that he sustained from that fight the reason he's on life support in his modified throne?
"Honestly, it just so often appears that Andy's education never got past the 6th grade. It's like there's a short bus parked in his driveway."
Until you remember that this asshole somehow got a BSEE from fucking Princeton. -.-;;
I don't know anything about quantum mechanics, but I believe that whatever it is, it's not the way Andy has described it.
If he said the sky was blue, I'd check for myself first, before I believed him.
For sustained crazy over several years, just this side of certifiably insane it's hard to go past Andy Schlafly, the founder of Conservapedia.
Mr Schlafly also sees E = mc^2 as “politically correct.”
If you and your ilk knew this all along, why the hell didn't you tell the rest of us?
...or were you just trying to claim credit for somebody else's hard work?
Chaos = The Devil.
Ipso Facto
The Weather = The Devil.
"The fundamental principle of quantum mechanics is that the underlying reality is in random fluctuation, or chaos, until there is intelligent observation of it."
That isn't quantum mechanics.
That's the New Agey Tao-of-Physics Popular Press version of quantum mechanics.
It has as little to do with real quantum mechanics as Pokemon evolution has to do with real evolution.
"And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to."
There's not a single mention of anything chaotic in there, or is this Luke 4:6 in the "The Bible is not Conservative Enough" project, which is probably "GAY LIBRULS EVIL GAYS LIBRULS GAYS Relativity is false GAY SCIENTIST LIBRULS".
Flyguy's mind is "random fluctuation, chaos".
Hell! HE'S "random fluctuation, chaos"!
If it requires an 'intelligent observer', how would Andy know anything about that?
Certainly not from personal experience...

Yes and yes, but you have to remember that the 40K universe is very much Grimdark (it invented Grimdark, after all), while the Ponyverse is... considerably less so, so their Horus-equivalent being redeemed and Celestia not getting stuck on the Golden Toilet isn't entirely unthinkable. After all, unlike his Primarch-brother Lorgar, Horus himself didn't exactly embrace Chaos willingly: it took betrayal, getting wounded by a Nurglish blade and manipulation by the corrupted Word Bearers Chaplain Erebus and the Davinite Chaos cultists of the Serpent Lodge while they were "healing" him to drive him to the side of Chaos, and even then he regained his sanity for a fraction of a second at the end, as the Emprah was obliterating him.
Thus sayeth Andy Schlafly, expert in quantum mechanics....
See? I can make shit up, too...
the word for chaos is... chaos.
also no, these aren't the same.
QM: the quantum world is random, and chaotic, observation changes outcomes as opposed to non-observation.
bible: god makes everything and observes everything and makes chaos, nothing is said about the quantum level.
not the same
Confused?
