You don't have to teach both sides of the debate when one side is a pile of crap. But that's exactly what evolution is.
They should take out evolution and teach Creation Science. They should teach children the Holy Bible starting in Kindergarten on up. All school studies should be based upon the Bible's foundation of truth.

You don't have to teach both sides of the debate when one side is a pile of crap. But that's exactly what creation is.
They should take out creation and teach the science of evolution. They should teach children scientific inquiry starting in Kindergarten on up. All school studies should be based upon the pursuit of knowledge.
You don't have to teach both sides of the debate when one side is a pile of crap.
Which is why teaching "Intelligent Design" in school was ruled unconstitutional in Kitzmiller v. Dover . And why mainstream science ignores it.
But good luck with your pipe dream.

Ever hear of Madrassas, Nate? In Afghanistan & parts of Pakistan. They teach Kindergarten on up the foundation of the truth of the Quran. And only that; it is the curriculum.
Can you say 'Suicide Bomber', Nate...?:

'I can go into a playground of kids that don't know anything about Christianity, lead them to the Lord in a matter of, just no time at all, and just moments later they can be seeing visions and hearing the voice of God , because they're so open. They are so usable in Christianity. '
'It's no wonder, with that kind of intense training and discipling, that those young people are ready to kill themselves for the cause of Islam. I wanna see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam. I wanna see them as radically laying down their lives for the Gospel as they are over in Pakistan and Israel and Palestine and all those different places, you know, because we have... excuse me, but we have the truth ! '

...I know you can.
(Part II):
Frankly, the Conservative Christian Judge John E. Jones III is more of a patriot than you dare imagine. Certainly more than you , Nate. He loves his country. To the extent that he doesn't want the US becoming a Talibangelistic Theocracy, ergo his decision in Kitzmiller vs. Dover.
Can you say 'China', Nate? Also, 'Cyberattacks'? I know you can II. You don't learn how to do that, from being taught lies from a book of fairytales. In Soviet China, God worships you .
Get this through your damn head: creationism isn't science. Even if it was to somehow magically turn out to be true, despite all of the evidence for evolution, creationism STILL wouldn't be science. "Science" isn't a synonym of "true". Science is a specific methodology and creationism neither follows that methodology nor does it derive from it. The fact that you want kids studying a holy book instead of a biology or physics book should clearly demonstrate that creationism and evolution belong to two totally different and unrelated subjects. If it turned out that evolution was wrong and creationism was right, science simply wouldn't teach origins because it would be something science wouldn't have an answer to. The only reason you keep trying to mix science and religious studies is because you KNOW science has a ton of credibility and that your Bible doesn't. And you want to take the easy road by usurping the hard-earned credibility of science without having to do any of the work science did, killing science in the process. Creation "science" is, in essence, a parasitoid.
Let's make the decision on what constitutes "crap" on the basis of tangible products. You show us the tangible benefits to humanity which have come about through the application of creationism. Then, we'll show you the tangible benefits to humanity that have come about through the application of evolutionary theory.
(Stick around folks. This'll be fun!)
Why the Bible Creation? Why none of the other thousands of Creation stories? There are no "both sides", silly; there is reality, and there are a lot of myths and fairy tales.
The only things that can be taught in Science class are things that meet up with the scientific method. Creation Crap doesn't.
If YOU want to teach your kids nonsense, that's your prerogative (but it is veeery close to child abuse), leave other kids to learn real science.
"You don't have to teach both sides of the debate when one side is a pile of crap..."
ah, exactly. that's exactly what i've been saying.
"But that's exactly what evolution is."
oh! so close!!
"They should take out evolution and teach Creation Science. They should teach children the Holy Bible starting in Kindergarten on up. All school studies should be based upon the Bible's foundation of truth."
lol. as long as i can get tax payers to send my kid to a private school that teaches actual shit, that's cool.
Fixing it
'You don't have to teach both sides of the debate when one side is a pile of crap. But that's exactly what intelligent design is.
They shouldn't teach creation science. They should teach children lessons based on evidence and observation starting in Kindergarten on up. All school studies should be based on evidence as the foundation of truth'
Fixed
You don't have to teach both sides of the debate when one side is a pile of crap.
You're right, they don't need to teach both sides of the debate because there isn't one. There is evolutionary science and all the evidence that it brings with it and there are religious fundamentalists with their head in the sand crying "goddidit". That's not a debate.
But that's exactly what evolution is.
I'd be willing to bet that you couldn't put together a concise, coherent, and correct explanation of evolutionary theory if your life depended on it.
They should take out evolution and teach Creation Science.
There is no such branch of science.
They should teach children the Holy Bible starting in Kindergarten on up.
You want your kids to learn the bible? Then you teach it to them . But that's not what you want, is it? You want to teach everybody's kids to be Christian, regardless of how their own parents feel about the matter.
Yeah, teach kids about how having slaves is good, and how you can beat the crap out of slaves for any reason, as long as they don't die in a day or two; teach them how to kill those that work on Sunday, and to kill kids that are disobedient or call an old bald guy names. Teach kids to kill entire towns if anyone within worships another god. Teach kids to kill their wife on her father's doorstep if she's not a virgin, and how if you want a wife, you can rape someone and then pay her father a few bucks...
Like teaching that kinda bible truth?
Back in the '80's when I first encountered christian fundamentalism/creationism, I instinctively knew that if these ideas ever gained political traction, it would be the end of western civilisation.
I also recognised that these ideas were very closly related to extreme right-wing political ideology. I could not enunciate my thoughts clearly enough at the time, and some of my workmates thought I gave these people far too much influence. Perhaps so. But I also knew that it had happened before in another society.
Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson explains my fears very clearly in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbLDKLQYrg8
Be sure to also teach the children:
Alchemy
Astrology
Dark Arts
Magic
Medicine using Leeches, Bloodletting, and Drilling Holes in Heads
Phrenology
Stork Theory
Tarot Theory
Voodoo Theory
There is no "debate." Your side lost.
Come back when you have a grain of evidence for creationism that doesn't come from made-up bullshit like the bible. Until then, 21st century science is in and ancient baloney is out - as it should be.
