Pagan is a religious term, it means non Abrahamic. Atheism is not from Abraham and thus not Abrahamic. But unlike Pagan religions, it has no deity. I am not atheist. My parents are not Pagan. You failed

Not that atheism is in any way a religion, but there are definitely atheist fundies, because militant members are extant within any and all social groups. In fact, one might say that all atheists are fundies, because by definition they strenuously reject a fundamental tenet of belief. An agnostic thus becomes a non-fundie form of atheist.

In a sense I can see where he's coming from - when religions themselves fall, there will still be those who believe in something bigger than themselves and with no religion to direct them, they are likely to return to nature worship, which is, by its definition, Paganism. Hey, I found a way to make a fundy make sense.
