Gays and lesbians are a very different social issue, totally unrelated to reasons for family and marriage. Thus, they have no right, merit or logic to draw a parallel with the men/women relationship via marriage and family! ... It is a myth - no evidence to believe that gays & lesbians are born who they are. They are undefinable at birth! .. Gays and lesbians have no one but themselves to blame for what is happening to them.

Hmmm. Last time I checked, the American Psychiatric Association removed "homosexuality" from its' list of mental disease in 1973...

So, you are saying that gays are the result of bad upbringing by traditional christian families? Shouldn't you attack the family who made them gay rather?
And if it is not something you are born with, it must be a choice then, so why don't you test that hypothesis by becoming gay for a year or so?
You're wrong. Period. There's nothing to argue, no mistery, proof is out there, ask any gay person if they can decide who they like, or even ask yourself if you can decide who you're aroused by.

- They come from families for a start - perhaps one of your brood, or a sibling is gay! Think on that and enjoy the thought.
- Secondly, they pay the same taxes as everyone else and this, in fairness, should entitle them to full equality in a secular state - as opposed to the theocracy that you probably want.
The CBC is fairly reliable, as far as that goes, I take it much more seriously than say, CNN or NBC. Expect them to get some details wrong, expect a certain slant. Like any news source. Their bulletin boards contain massive deposits of crazy fundies though.

Interestingly enough, I've had both woman/man and woman/woman relationships in my lifetime, and I have to say, the feelings aren't that different.
