It's unfortunate Hawking and other major physicists refer to the singularity as "nothing", even though they've explained it's a reference to its size or dimensional properties. Because Ray and his ilk just keep hammering on that term as if science accepts the theological concept of absolute literal nothing in any dimensional existence.
But all that aside, it's also a devious dishonest stunt to claim Atheism depends on that or any scientific concepts. I was an Atheist long before knowing some science and that science hasn't changed the why of my Atheism.
He knows damn well we defend the science because Ray, Hovind, Ham and most creationists debaters misrepresent it constantly, Every time you hear a creationist say "scientists claim," there's a big lie coming.

Your right on there. I've been waiting for a place to make this point myself. Ray, more then any other (The Hovinds and Craig put together level>) tries to incite anger with insults to intelligence and overkill with the use of the word arrogant. He's walking a fine line sometimes of his fans not getting (or truthfully not wanting to) the lies and pissing off his opponents with the blatantly obvious stupidity and 'so there' juvenility of his delivery, he shows no respect.
Check his street interview garbage, I'd be into insults on him in about three remarks, he's such a snot.
They all are trying to get the other side to raise their voice, to show a little anger so they can pull the "oh, hit a nerve" or "why so angry?". It's a right wing Christian tactic, priests shout at you then do a big sermon on how angry Atheists are, that they shout at you, waving their arms around like madmen. Bill O'reiily and Limbaugh shout at people then go "what's wrong, why you angry?" when the shout back. or cut their mikes off and claim they started swearing.
