On the the republican VP choice.
She'd be right. There's absolutely no reason to leave one theory in the history books, especially a theory that promotes ONLY the atheist view. Evolution dates keep changing everytime another dating system proves the last one wrong and that's a fact.
The history books are screwed up and revised enough by liberals and atheists. It's amazing how much they can indoctrinate what they want taught these days while they cry about religious influence.

Except that the multiple dating methods match up with each other just fine. And as long as the Earth is old, it being 1 billion or 100 billion years is inconsequential for evolution. Creationists are not just against evolution, they are against every field of science. They just may not realize it.
"Evolution dates keep changing everytime another dating system proves the last one wrong and that's a fact."
You seem confused about what, exactly, constitutes a fact.
"The history books are screwed up and revised enough by liberals and atheists."
Not revised, corrected. See, you nutty bastards were in charge of history for a few centuries there and now we have to go back and correct all of your self-serving bullshit that you added in.
Learn the scientific definition of "theory", learn the difference between "atheist view" and "non-Bible literalist view", and learn about the scientific method RIGHT THIS MINUTE!
"It's amazing how much they can indoctrinate what they want taught these days"
But, luckily for you, an indoctrination into reality never sticks for people who are just so damn unwilling to live in it...
Palin says she wants creationism taught in schools, but in what class? I'll teach it in my English class, if that'll work for her. After all, I'm going to be covering other cultures' origin myths anyway.
There's absolutely no reason to leave one theory in the history books
Unless it's Creationism. Then you'd be appalled at anything that might challenge it. Critically examine everything unless it's something you already agree with. Then it's untouchable.
I'm with Old Viking here. History is about civilisations since the invention of writing, mostly based on those writings themselves. The theory of evolution has nothing to do with that. Leave that in the biology classrooms, where it belongs.
Fuck that shit, it's not important. McCain has brought the level of political discourse in this election to the point that the burning question is:
Does she have nekkid pictures somewhere in the intertubes?
In case you're wondering, to change, or rather, to readjust theories in the light of new data is, HAS ALWAYS BEEN, a characteristic of science. So?
"She'd be right. There's absolutely no reason to leave one theory in the history books, especially a theory that promotes ONLY the atheist view. Evolution dates keep changing everytime another dating system proves the last one wrong and that's a fact..."
- Theory means just that: it means that according to new information that comes to light, old views are re-examined and if necessary revised. Strangely, it was in this way the the modern world came about, with cars, planes, computers, and all the labour-saving devices that make out world so wonderful.
"...The history books are screwed up and revised enough by liberals and atheists..."
- you'd rather they were screwed up and revised only by fundamentalists? Can't thisnk who it was, but I read it recently, that for every step forward taken by sciend and reason, an equal and opposite step is taken backwards by Fundamentalists.
"...It's amazing how much they can indoctrinate what they want taught these days while they cry about religious influence."
- This sounds so like the wolf crying : "Boy!".
When science makes mistakes it is the first one to admit it, but as it stands evolution dates aren't changed but aquires more sophisticated methods of measurement to give a better result, but having said that the "changing" is in the order of +/-50 years per million years.
When Religion makes a mistake, they just move to another erstwhile contradictary verse to justify it.
History books are written by the victors, Bibles are written by ancient semi-literate goat-sodomisers who couldn't count beyond 10 unless they took thier sandals off.
Has Wow been infiltrated by idiots or even worse, GOP toadies??? A lot of those people appear to sock-pupet each other and seem to know very little about gaming. What damn theory is she talking about in history books??? Evolution is science not history, dolt. And many CHRISTIANS and people of other faiths accept evolution as well as atheists. And history books being revised by liberals and atheists?? Yeah and they are also revised by conservatives, moderates, Christians, Jews, Muslims, and people of every other political and religious belief. I think you are a fake Bronwyn. I think you are a fourty year old freeper or freecon creepy guy and I think you are about four different people on WoW.
There's no reason to teach another theory when the current theory is still supported by all the evidence. But let's be fair, so that's why we should also be teaching alternative history to kids, like that the moon landing is a fake and that the Holocaust never happened and slavery was a-okay.
There's a reason why you don't teach an alternative to the truth.
If the scientific method was applied to your precious Bible, and it was rewritten to agree with recent (and not so recent) discoveries in physics, astronomy, biology, chemistry, anthropology, archeology, etc., there would be nothing left of it.

It all comes together.
"and that's a fact"
And that's a lie.
"On the the republican VP choice.
She'd be right."
And for the presidential nomination in 2012? You go right ahead, Religious Right, Teabaggers, Neocunts etc. We Atheists insist upon it.
And that's a fact. Why?
Sarah Failin would not only hand Obama his 2nd term on a gold platter, but her Sarah FAILIN-G a 2nd time would create such a schism in the Repubican party, between the moderates and the Religious Right GOPers, that the Democrats would be in power for ever and ever RAmen.
...just a thought.
It's not even like science has changed much over 40 years, it's merely become more precise (oddly, their goal huh) Many scientific concepts have gained more consensus over time and the evidence has become more distributed.
It's a stupid argument mostly because a lot of what creationist claim as 'new facts' are very old, you being ignorant or ignoring them doesn't make them new.
Take the Big Bang theory or Black Hole research, they've been scientific hypothesis long before evidence was discovered, Black Holes were found using the priciples of science that predicted their effect.
This is one of Hovinds arguments, the Bible hasn't changed (except it has) and that means it's true. Science is always changing (which it isn't) so it can't be right. Hovinds a good example of this tact as 90% of his arguments are well over 40 year old, debunked creationist claims and critisisms of science. He also bitches about religion not being taught at school and schoolbooks being liberal propaganda
Here's a fact for you idiots, History books are written by historians. They have only one agenda and some history has been revised due to the older history being biased and protective of Christians. Texas is trying to reverse this and are using old, Christian friendly history books as their research.
Confused?
