As Christians, we are notorious for caring about other people's problems, which is one of the reasons why everybody hates us so much.

Um, I've always cared about other people's problems, too. And I've never been a Christian.
I was born into a Jewish family but gave that up once I was old enough to know that being good to others didn't require you to be a part of any faith system.
Ah yes, you are so hated and persecuted, and this 'caring' you speak of is purely LOVE in action, and smells not a bit of persecution/demonisation/derision towards those who oppose you ideologically, factually, rationally and actually.
It's not that you care, it's the way you care. So much Christian "care" has been identical to what everybody else calls oprression.
This caring has included torture, murder, kidnapping, war, slavery, assault and molestation. It's currently extending to denying legal rights to gays in the name of your ju-ju. Do you really not see why your care is notorious?
While I can't speak for anyone else, I don't hate anyone for being a Christian. I will respect and even defend your beliefs based on simple human decency. No, instead, I hate people like you, "azlan", for being stupid.
As Christians, you are notorious for invading other cultures, telling them what they are doing wrong, even though it's been working for them for eons, spreading your diseases, and wiping out cultures that refuse to bow down to your god.

Oh, no one minds if you care about other people's problems. You should just quit regarding people having other faiths than yours a "problem". Especially when many of you consider that a problem so big that it has to be fixed right away before you even start tackling other problems.
That's funny, because I learned that I don't have to be a Christian in order to care about others. I don't hate Christians in general, but what I do hate is when the more fundie among you want to poke your snouts into my business.
You dropped a word, let me fix it.
"As Christians, we are notorious for NOT caring about other people's problems, which is one of the reasons why everybody hates us so much."
Yes, we've seen how much you care for gays, atheists, and poor people. Not to mention all the babies that are born into abusive and neglectful homes. Or people of other belief systems. Or Haitians.
"As hate-filled, judgmental, holier-than-thou Christian fundies, we are notorious for criticizing other people's religious beliefs and telling them they're not real Christians like us, which is one of the reasons why everybody hates us so much."
There. Fixed.
"As Christians, we are notorious for caring about other people's problems, which is one of the reasons why everybody hates us so much"
Which is why George Clooney is so popular, successful, and was voted Sexiest Man Alive twice .
I'm soooo sure it has nothing to do with the fact he's a liberal, an Atheist, and recently organised a huge fundraising campaign for the people of Haiti.
See you on the next plane to Port-au-Prince, azlan. If you - as a Christian - care about other people's problems so much.
As Christians, you are notorious for opposing any reform in health care in the US, which would actually help people. Why are churches so opposed to it? Because there right-wing membership is! They know where their donations are coming from. You couldn't give a shit about other people's problems.
No, you're notorious for thinking that other people's personal lives are "problems" that you have to fix. I.e., "Oh no you like cock! We must save you from TEH GAY!!" or "Oh no you don't believe in Jesus! We must save your soul!!"
THAT'S why some people hate you. And by "you" I mean fundies. I know very few people who hate all Christians.
I have to agree with the others, it's not that you're Christian, it's how you "care". Contrary to what your type always says, I only know my Christian friends are Christians because we've discussed that fact. Otherwise they're truly caring people (and the fact they're willing to use their brains helps them to be caring).
Yes, just like the Crusaders, who really, honestly cared about the Muslims' problems. Or the conquistadors, who cared about the Amerindians so much that they slaughtered them en masse. Or the Puritans, who loved their women so much that they hanged many of them for "witchcraft."
I guess this is why fundie Christians have no problem with domestic violence. The "I hit you because I love you" and "I punched you for your own good" excuses work equally well for their dangerous brand of fundamentalism.
No, you are hated, if that's the right word, for butting in where your help is unwanted.
When Christians, for instance, assist earthquake victims in Haiti, that's the type of caring about other people's problems that's to be applauded (with the exception of the misguided souls who were taking Haitian kids out of the country without permission, but I'm willing to chalk that up to good intentions outweighing good sense.)
Its when you start "helping" people by harassing them, when you start trying "help" people by trying to legislatively ban their "sins", etc, that's when you're hated.
I've seen how your lot "cares" about gay people. I've read your posts which say that if poor people only gave they lives to Christ they wouldn't be poor. I've read about missionary programs in India that demand that impoverished parents have their children baptized before they will give them any food.
No one needs your kind of "caring." And yet, you continue it, regardless of what the subjects of your "caring" want. That is why people hate you!
Let me modify a well-known quote from Ronald Reagan:
The eight most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm a Christian and I'm here to help.'
Yes, the rest of the world hates Christians, especially the far-right Christians, for giving two shits about other people's problems and not for preaching hatred and God's wrath.
Could you be any more willfully blind?!
If anything, it comes down to this fail concept.
There should be no social assistance so the poor and desperate are forced to accept the vastly overrated programs of the Christian church, which will force them into servitude for less(or no) assistance to assist in the agenda of Christian Soldiers for their attack on freedom.
You've done it before, we've seen it even in North America in certain times and places over the last few hundred years. We give you a little leway the Theocracy comes back every time.
The only hope this planet has is to free ourselves from religious rule (or dictorial absolute enslavement, same thing) there has never been a free-man state under religious statehood. The reason for that is it's the same as a dictatorship, there's no difference between a dictorial madman, a royal court of assholes or a theocratic rule. In fact, history shows, a whack job royal family can be an improvement.
Confused?
