Reasonable, high-minded, true scientists don't like to hear that, A. because it is untrue and B. because it is insulting.
This is just funny. I thought the role of scientists in society was to discover the truth behind nature and natural occurences. I didn't know that truth seekers (i.e., scientists) were trying to prove fairy tales (i.e., creationism). Well, damn if I wasn't confused on that part. Thanks for clearing that up, scarlet.
How can one possibly find out more about the Biblical creation, with or without square brackets? You read Genesis, you wonder why the two parts don't square with each other, you move on. What more is there to know?
Bearing in mind that their role in society is to make the comp you´re typing in and the medicines that enable you to live over fourty, I think the one who should be humble and not asign aburd roles to anybody, let alone in a book which inspired an endemicly poor society, is you.
I see. It seems fundies have predefined roles for men, women, children, doctors, animals, and now scientists.
Find more about creation. The creation that says that all creation was solely for man? That's "humble?"

When one understands the immenseness of the universe and how much there is to be learned from it, one cannot help but feel humbled. Just ask any real scientist.
