Christianity by your definition does not make sense to me or most people who are sane. Not only that, you refute cold, hard facts with fantastical stories. In addition to that, many of the so-called Christians end up advocating a message condraticting Christ's original message.
So, whether a atheist, moderate Christian, Muslim or otherwise, to us, you are pretty stupid people. Most of us do not hate all Christianity or religion, mind you. Just the bigoted, hateful ones.
In conclusion, fundies are asking for it.
He has a point. We're amused by things that fundies take out of context as well as those who claim to be -any- major stance and yet say things that would invalidate every part of their stance. Also, even some Poes are funny from time to time.

Because if s/he had, Driver would see that they generally aren't taken out of context, and offer a link for people to go back and read the sources for themselves.
As for posing...most of them don't seem to be posing as anything other than themselves. There are people out there who are really and truly that fucking terrifying, or just plain out-and-out DUMB, walking among us. And some of them have computers.
Indeed, some things here may be taken out of context from time to time, but most of the posts we attack are just plain stupid, and stupid is stupid regardless of context.

We have to laugh and be amused by these posts from the religious and political fundie neo-cons. If we really thought about it and took them seriously and considered these people to be as stupid, mean-spirited, bigoted, biased, lock-step conformist, and willfully ignorant of history and their countrie's laws as much of this fundie religious and political ranting suggests, I think that we would extremely depressed at the direction our country was headed.

No TRUE Christian(TM) would ever say dumb things! Half these things nonbelievers couldn't make up if we tried. And come on. The context that most these quotes are taken in is irrelevant, because they're so outrageous that there's no scenario where they'd make sense.

While it is true that some quotes on here are taken out of context or are from people pretending to be stupid Christians, there are still genuine quotes. I've heard many real people echo sentiments that I've seen on here, so I have no doubt that a good percentage of these quotes are the real thing.
