What an imbecile. I myself was fuckin bullied in high school for being a little girly before I realized I was gay. Or should I say, deprogrammed from my fundie train of thought on the matter. (I had managed to trick myself into not being attracted to anybody really to 'please God', but my mannerisms didn't change much). So I can say that gay people do get violence against them. Not to mention, as everybody has said, the Stonewall riots, Matthew Sheppard, a few of students at that school in the us recently (You know Tyler or something like that and a couple of others).
Meanwhile, I bet even a paranoid hobo's stories of persecution for being Christian are taken as literal truth by you and not as the ramblings of the insane as it should be.
Addendum; as most women have, at one time or another, experienced a bit of aggressive "courtship", I bet almost every homosexual has experienced some kind of unwanted attention due to her/his homosexuality.

Wikipedia has a category with about two dozen cases in the United States alone, each of which was covered in detail in the media . Now imagine how many more happen in silence, unreported. Now imagine how many more happen outside the United States.

There have been some, but many are exagerated. The Bible says "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord." This means that Christians do not assault or personally avenge themselves on anybody, no matter what the sin. God will take care of the homosexuals. It's not our place to pass judgment.
