Oh, I am capable of having a scientific debate. I am not able to deal with people rejecting the scientific evidence, when conflicts with what they want to believe.

True, but only if you get a standard hand gun, the barrel on 20,000 miles distance and filled with 1 guppy.
"...I mean, first of all, do you know how much of a pain in the neck it is to get the fish in the barrel in the first place? And then you have to get a gun, and bullets, and figure out where that stupid safety switch is. And then you start shooting, but, like, the gun bucks and you end up blowing out your wall and the top of the barrel, and all the fish spill out into your yard. Damn fish and their stupid barrels."
Ideas have no inherent morality. The implementation of those ideas might, but the idea itself does not. An idea is an abstract concept that does not possess objective reality until individuals act on the idea.
And your first sentence is perfect, I will remember it so I can quote it back at you when next you reject scientific evidence because it disagrees with your dogma.
Hmmmm....perhaps I'd better make a macro of it now...

Scientific empirical evidence says otherwise...
Yes, it's like shooting fish in a barrel so long as you don't make it a point to examine the barrel, the gun, the fish, or verify the fact that any of these objects are in your possession. Just declare victory and go home.
I read the entire thread that this came from. JohnR7 is probably the most alienated personality on the internet. Out of 15 total pages of the thread, I cannot remember one person agreeing with him. He utterly rejects any opposition to his stance as being hostile to his believes and also of being unscientific. As someone alluded to in that thread, he has regressed into a world all his own and his delusions are showing up stronger with each and every post.
3) Christianity is represented by a little fish.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAA!
Oh, I am capable of having a scientific debate.
220+ submissions here and tens of thousands of posts on CF state otherwise.

Oh shit no! You did not just say that. Are you confusing science with apologetic lies or dumbfuckery?

Yes, unfortunately, by the time you worked out what the fuck you were talking about and tried to put a case forward the lobe finned fishes would've evolved into tetrapods and crawled out the barrel.

That is why when evolution was first published in peer reviewed journals, it was immediately and completely disproven, tossed into the dust bin of history, never to be heard from again.
That is why, many believers have rejected literal creationism and embraced theistic evolution.
John, remember to use the little projection at the end of the round pipe part to aim at the fish. Do not look down the pipe.
On the other hand, yeah, do that. Look down the pipe when you shoot the gun.
Has anyone ever seen a fundie talking about their scientific evidence? I mean this seriously - I hear fundies say stuff like what JohnR7 is saying here all the time, and yet when asked for evidence they cite the Bible. But I know that Jack Chick cites "scientific evidence", such as that Lucy is not a millions-of-years-old human skeleton but rather a thousands-of-years-old ape, and that dinosaur bones are actually bones of other random animals. I'd be really interested in hearing more about Fundie Science of this sort, and particularly in seeing where the hell they *get* it all from (does Chick just make it up as he goes along, or are there fundie "scientists" who print "academic journals" at Kinko's and staple them together?) Anyway, if anyone knows, leave a comment.
We need something other than irony meters, shiny mirrors, and pots and kettles.
How about this:
When something is full of iron, that makes it irony
Yeah, I'll show myself out.
Actually, it's like praying for a fish, and a barrel, and some water, and a gun, and some ammunition.

In Soviet USA , Blue Whale with a 16 inch-barelled gun shoots you.
Now, John(A)R(se)7(IQ), are you capable of having a legal debate with the Honourable Judge John E. Jones III about his decision in Kitzmiller vs. Dover - just a couple of months after your post in CF - specifically he & what his ruling said, being lies ...?
...because it's not as if he's gonna take you to court, seeing as allegations of Lying - Perjury - aren't an extremely serious crime in the eyes of the US's Justice System, nosiree! [/hyper-sarcasm]
Confused?
