[Reply to a post asking Muslims, Christians and Jews to put their differences aside and work to make the world a better place]
Cant we all just get along?
Yes! In Christ! He is our peace!
Know Jesus, know peace; no Jesus, no peace....
BTW, "making the world a better place" in the way you're thinking is not the main goal of any of these religions....

Ha, thats on the sign in front of a church a block away from me. It also has this equaly cheesey phrase on it: 'give the devil a ride and soon he wants to drive!' God, those are stupid.
Just how does one "know" Jesus? He's been dead a long time, and last I heard is "incommunicado".
One more thing, can you tell me when Jeshua became Jesus, and when he became Christ?
Answer: Long, long after he died...
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiit!
Thiiiiiiiiis Jesus?????????
Matthew 10:34
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Luke 12:51
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Luke 22:36
He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Yep, you must be talking about the Jesus who sells me my weed!
I love that retarded cliche.
Know Satan, know peace. No Satan, no peace.

Actually, making the world a better place (tikkun olam) is one of the very important concepts in Judaism. And I know a large number of Christians and Moslems who feel it is God's will that they should work to to try to heal the world, as well.
In fact, most people of good will, whether religious or not, see a need to try to make this world a better place for everyone.
It seems only to be the fundamentalists of various stripes that don't give a flying fuck about the future of the world, because they are all so obsessed with their eschatological death cults.
Confused?
