If anything that should prove to you that evolution happens. Mutations happen, that ones that don't work, i.e. your cow, die and the ones that do live on and reproduce. If a cow one day was born with a mutation that alowed it to escape your gun trying to put it down it would live and pass it on to it's children.

Uh huh. Assuming that the 5th leg was caused by a genetic mutation, which is not necessarily so, the ToE doesn't claim that all mutations are beneficial. In fact, we accept that most mutations probably aren't beneficial, but natural selection weeds them out of the gene pool fairly quickly. Your 5-legged cow wouldn't have survived long in the world and would not have reproduced. Evolution in action.

No. That's crap. Hitler and some of his pals used some of Darwin's work to try to bolster their philosophy, but Darwin in no way CAUSED Hitler. In fact, since every birth is supposedly a gift from God, didn't God cause Hitler?

Hitler used a lot of stuff to justify what he did. That it no way means that the original authors suppored that use of it. Darwin, Nietzsche, Norse mythology, and the Christian God come to mind. I'm sure there are others. I'm pretty sure that you don't want to blame Christians for Hitler.
Extra limbs are often caused not by heritable genetic defects but by mutagens - chemicals, drugs or diseases that screw up the developing fetus. These generally have no effect on evolution.
A single negative mutation does not mean positive mutations cannot happen. Your example supports evolution by demonstrating that random mutations can take place, however.

No, he didn't. Why did anyone have to "cause" Hitler? The man was a world class asshole, but he had a brain, and he could think for himself. Even if he liked Darwin's ideas, and/or used them to justify what he was doing, that doesn't make what he did anybody's fault but his own.
Yeah, I am sure that with the millions of Christians, some have disabilities. Why not evolution and science? It does not work that way! You fail at so many levels.
Darwin caused Hitler? I thought the Hitler was into eugenics. Eugenics actually came from Darwin's cousin Frank. Darwin didn't really agree with it, either. Eugenics was about genetic PURITY - Aryan 'perfect' Master Race and all that. Evolution thrives on genetic DIVERSITY and the ability to change and adapt.

No Dawrin did not cause Nazism, Hitler caused Nazism. The allies put the Germans in a ituations were Nazism was their only hope. The aerian Ideal came about long before Dawrinism. And Darwin was a Christian even when he bought about the theory of Evolution.
No-one said that all mutations and birth-defects are "better", but some give a slight advantage, and helps its "owner" to have more offspring, who carry on the mutation to the next generation.
