Just as certain parts of the Bible are 'metaphorical', amirite? The literal 'Word of God'? Can't have it both ways, sweetcakes. Either all of the Bible is literal, or it's fictional bullshit from start to finish. And speaking of having your cake & eat it, and bullshit:

Nor the perpetual P.R. traincrash that is Sarah Failin. Not even a peep about the unimaginably vile right-wing venom spewed out by the subhuman right-wing hypocritical blubberbag Rush Limburger. And not one word of condemnation of the activities of their own preachers (Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart, Ted Faggard, Kent Hovind, Tony Alamo et al) when they & their own sins are exposed.
I'm not speaking 'metaphorically', merely the facts, Jack. Dawkins, can't you people think?
