I am an outcast. I am an untouchable. I am a leper. I am the scum of the earth. Why, what did I do? Sexually abuse a child? Torture kittens for the fun of it? Murder my own family? No, something far, far worse. You see, I actually believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.

And even worse, I actually believe every child has a right – as much as possible – to be raised by his or her own biological mother and father. Yes I know: to have such outlandish and radical beliefs makes me pure evil, and I should be driven from polite society.

outcastOK, so banish me now. Exile me. Or jail me. Or even put me to death for my dastardly beliefs. But no matter how demonised and abused by the homosexual statists, I will never refrain from speaking up for truth – and for marriage and children.

I have long noted how incredibly bizarre all this is, with persecution arising for simply affirming marriage and the wellbeing of children. Who would have thought the new clampdown on freedom and democracy would come from those rainbow warriors who have declared war on marriage and family.

I don't think you'll find many people who disagree with the idea that children should be raised by their biological mother and father. Unfortunately, that's not always possible, for a variety of reasons. I assume you bring it up because you believe gay couples only want children in order to abuse them, but they're not snatching children from biological parents.

SSM doesn't affect you in the slightest. If you're really that concerned about the welfare of children, spend your time helping single parents -- become a Big Brother to a child without a father, coach kids sports, etc. Work to save children who are being abused by their biological parents. I realize it's easier to just complain on the internet, but try doing something productive instead.

I believe marriage is between one man and one woman as well. Hell no one is saying that one man and one woman can't get married. However I believe that two adults of legal age who love each other have the right to marry. We are not changing the definition just adding to it.

I also believe that kids should have their natural born mother and father. In a perfect world there would be no unwanted kids, no kids up for adoption, none with drunk and abusive parents and non in the dreadful system. However we don't live in a perfect world. We have kids no one wants, kids considered up adoptable by most as they are too old or the wrong skin color or have a disability.

Those kids deserve a home too yet their parents might be dead, or unfit parents or left and never came back. Their right to their natural parents was taken away and will never come back. Does that mean they should be stuck in the system until they are eighteen? No. If a same sex couple wants those less desirable children then that is a blessing. They will have a much better life then in the system.

The system sucks, it is more a prison than a home and the adults are employees so there is no love. Plus if you are luck not to have a sexual abusive house parent he/she might be terrible in other ways.

I won't demonize you as I respect your opinion. I find it narrow minded but that gives me no right to judge you. Your beliefs are not dastardly but neither are mine. Both our beliefs are a result of our upbringing.

Which causes you to pretend that it was outlawed in the same ruling that told you you can't pretend marriage between two men or two women is any less valid, just so you have another excuse to whine.

Quit the bullshit, boy, you don't give a flying fuck about the kids. If you did you'd be trying to stop all adoption. No, all you care about is whether whoever happens to be raising the kids is straight. Straight couple adopts a kid, all fine and dandy. Gay couple adopts a kid, suddenly it's the equivalent of sex trafficking.

People like you who think 'freedom' includes the ability to deny freedom to other people over race, religion, and/or sexual orientation, and who in turn pretend that all of their own freedoms are being stolen when the government reminds them "no, you dickless fucks, that's not how it fucking works" would have thought fairy-tales like that. Other people, not so much.

Most people, liberals included, would support the right for the biological parents to raise their children, but this is not always the best option for the child. Your idyllic view ignores the fact that many children are abused by their parents and in unsuitable living conditions or they are orphaned, therefore adoption would be beneficial for the sake of the child. As there is no evidence to suggest that homosexuals would make bad parents it means that they should be given the option to adopt, if this is their desire. Why should we deprive homosexuals of the right to be parents because the holier than thou homophobes find them icky?

I have long grown weary of the self-righteous religious loons resorting to lies and hysteria to portray themselves as victims. No-one has ever argued for the death penalty to be applied for your beliefs here in the west, so stop fear mongering.
