Biblical Errancy = License to Do Whatever?
I admit it. I'm a biblical inerrantist. If the Bible says something, I believe it is something we simply can't disregard in favor of our opinion.

That said, I could accept that the Bible is not inerrant. However, even if I did that, I would still have no problem following the Bible in its entirety, which brings me to my question...

Is it just me or do people who claim the Bible contains flaws always find such flaws in the words that conflict with their own ideas? For example, if somebody condones [insert controversy here], then all the verses against that controversy are flawed and should not be taken seriously. Am I the only one who finds this to be self-serving and dishonest?

Or if it's right, then does that mean that all those verses about loving your enemy can be disregarded, since I love to wish death upon people who slight me, and therefore, that means the Bible is wrong in such a case?
