NOUN
1. a great or complete devastation or destruction, especially by fire.
2. a sacrifice completely consumed by fire; burnt offering.
3. (usually initial capital letter) the systematic mass slaughter of European Jews in Nazi concentration camps during World War II (usually preceded by the).
4. any mass slaughter or reckless destruction of life.

At the very least, definition 4 applies to abortion. At 15,000 executions of innocents per week in America, that is not altogether different from the kill rate of Jews under Hitler, with the exception that ours has been going on for 45 years, much longer. Abortion is a holocaust.

Of course, there are always MANY differencies between any two human rights atrocities. No two atrocities are the same, because humans "evolve" in our depravity. But, that does not mean that there are not many similarities too. At the heart of most human rights atrocities is the dehumanization of certain humans who are decidedly human (on science). Certainly, that dehumanization is the main thrust in pro-abortion arguments.

One of my close friends is in her 90's and still very active pro-life.

She grew up in Nazi Germany, and as a teen, she made the mistake of speaking up for the Jews. As a result, she was sent to two labor camps, then finally a "psychiatric" hospital, where those who disagreed with da fuehrer, often disappeared. Fortunately, she was liberated by the US Army before the Nazis could "experiment" on her.

She believes that abortion is very similar to the Holocaust, even though there are obviously many differences.

There is also an interesting DIRECT connection between the Nuremberg Trials and abortion - I thank Josefarma for directing me to this article long ago:
