"any kafir who studies islam and does not accept islam, is dangerous"

So anyone who is interested in what other religions have to say is dangerous?
So I guess that makes me one of the most dangerous men on earth, I was raised Catholic and have researched every religion ranging from Judaism to Islam to Buddhism to the Greek Gods of Old(Hell, I often use "God" and "Zeus" interchangably)
Ah!
Wait, am I a kafir?
O_o??
anonymous_troy - "kafir" = "rejector", effectively. That said, that means that a kafir isn't going to accept Islam, which makes this quote nonsensical. Which is to be expected, but all the same.
Another one of those "Open-mindedness is evil" things. I'm a Christian but respect Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists and many more... Does that make me a bad person?
Then I'm a dangerous mother fucker.
'Cos I don't accept Islam, and I know how to use capitalization.
You Allah worshipping fuckwit.
Sweet! I can add 'dangerous' to the list of things fundies on this site have called me.
Well, not me specifically, but categories I happen to be in.
And fuck yeah, Middle Eastern studies people are dangerous. We're hardcore. You try learning one of the world's hardest languages in two years while everyone around you thinks you're some kind of terrorist for doing it, and see if you don't get a little edge to you.
Yes, like I'm dangerous to Jews, Buddhists, Shintists, Christians, and Scientologists. I need to know about what I'm debating, I don't just take it at face value like a fundie would.
An important concession. Such a person is dangerous in the sense that informed criticism of a religion is usually insurmountable.
The only options are to proclaim one's opponents ignorance or prejudice, or to preach only to the choir.
Neither rationally justifies the belief in question.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
