"Because mainstream science turns its back on it."
Because it's not science. Until you can find a way to prove it without the Bible, it will remain that way.
"Monies wasted on junk science like SETI, the Superconducting Super Collider, and various NASA projects could feed the homeless."
SETI, I'm on the fence about. I would love to know if there's intelligent life out there, but...meh. Supercolliders could revolutionize transportation as we know it. Several NASA projects allow us to track weather patterns and have made life MUCH easier for us.
"In addition, students in schools and colleges and universities wouldn't be wasting time learning evolution, and scientists themselves would be spending much more time doing research in other areas."
Basically if I don't believe it, scientists should be spending their time ignoring it, or working to tear it apart. Evidence is evidence.
"Monies spent on the Hubble Telescope could have been used to finance missionary work throughout the world."
Or, here's a thought, get your own damn church to pay for the missionary work. If your church wants government aid, it can start paying taxes.
"People would worry much less about this earth being vaporized by an asteroid and other junk doomsday ideologies by realizing that God is in control of everything."
You try and pray away these things. I prefer to have faith in proven sciences to maintain our existence.
"In short, the vacuum left by deleting evolution from our vocabulary could be filled with many major edifying projects."
Wow...so you're not promoting ignorance, you're allowing scientists to martyr their causes. How about this. If creation scientists stopped their studies, they could be hard at work trying to cure a myriad of diseases.
"I could go on and on and on, but I'll stop here --- for now to see how you reply."
And here it is: You're a dingbat, who seems to love sticking his head in the sand. Because you don't agree with it is no reason for it to be abandoned flat out. If the evidence leads to it, the wise will follow. Cope.
