And? Just because evidence hasn't been found, or has been interpreted wrongly, doesn't mean it isn't true. My faith isn't based on scientific evidence, I don't need that to know that the Bible is true.
Our entire historical record is a joke, especially when it comes to ancient history. There is so much information lacking, and so many personal agendas in archeology, that we will never come to the real truth.

"Personal agendas in archeology...like what?"
Dont you know almost all science since 1850 has been an elaborate conspiracy against True Christians and the 100% literal and true biblical story they hide the evidence for?
My faith isn't based on scientific evidence, I don't need that to know that the Bible is true.
I absolutely believe that. If you believe in the literal truth of the bible you won´t be able to base much of your belief on scientific evidence ;)
In part, you're right. Human history is subjective to a point. However, if you think the Bible doesn't put forth an agenda, you're an idiot.
Of course, that we've been able to decypher the papiri in Egypt, find monuments which confirm or debunk previous conceptions and the fact that we know more about Egypt now than 100 years before is all a joke. At least it's better than the Jews, who thought that Pyramids were grain-stores built by Joseph.

'M'lud, we don't need scientific evidence to know that this man's religion is nased on a book of bronze age fairytale and rituals.'
Something probably happened, probably not in the exact same way as the Bible describes, but like most myths there is a grain of truth to them. I mean this was clearly a significant event in the Israelites past, it could easily have been mythologized and what literally happened is now lost to history.
And? Just because evidence hasn't been found, or has been interpreted wrongly, doesn't mean it isn't true.
There is however, evidence that they were chased out by the egyptians. 40 years in the desert my arse! You could walk to Israel from Eygpt in a couple of weeks.
I can assume then that you will join my efforts to have Gilgamesh recorded as a real person and his deeds taught as fact to children everywhere.
No?!?
Just because evidence hasn't been found, or has been interpreted wrongly, doesn't mean it isn't true. My faith isn't based on scientific evidence, I don't need that to know that the Epic of Gilgamesh is true.

So, first they claim that ‘Science keeps reinforcing the TRUTHINESS of the Bible!’
Then Science casts doubt on the veracity of the Biblical account.
So they claim that there’s NO WAY to find THE TRUTH through science. Personal agendas and historical revisions and plain error.
But still, there’s just no evidence for the Bible’s account.
And suddenly one’s faith is NOT connected to science, at least not like it was when science backed up the faith.
Weird.
Confused?
