"Speaking of the man in black... Johnny Cash gets the award for the biggest sellout since Judas Iscariot."
[snip]
"Johnny would be performing at the gambling casino (Feb. 29, 1996). But of course, compared with recording a song by Satanist Glenn Danzig (who obviously would get royalties from Johnny recording his song) performing in a gambling casino is next to going to church."
[snip]
"Johnny Cash sold his soul to Satan. Recognized worldwide as a "Christian by unsuspecting believers, Johnny Cash was NO Christian."
Throw stones much, David?

Little Davey Stewart is a fame whore, much like Paris Hilton, Perez Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, etc. He make seek his fame from a different audience but in the end they're all sucking the same cock...the one that gets them noticed in some desperate fashion.
So this means nothing to you? It's a good song.
Were You There When They Crucified My Lord (featuring June Carter) Lyrics
Artist(Band):Johnny Cash Review The Song (0)
Were you there when they crucified my Lord
Oh were you there when they crucified my Lord
(Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble
Were you there when they crucified my Lord
Were you there when they nailed him to the cross
Were you there when they nailed him to the cross
(Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble
Were you there when they nailed him to the cross
[ ac.guitar ]
(Were you there when they laid him in the tomb
Were you there when they laid him in the tomb
Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble
Were you there when they laid him in the tomb
Well were you there when the stone was rolled away
Were you there when the stone was rolled away
(Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble
Were you there when the stone was rolled away
I'll leave you with this:
Inside the walls of prison my body may be but my Lord has set my soul free
There's a greystone chapel here at Folsom a house of worship in this den of sin
You wouldn't think that God had a place here at Folsom
But he saved the souls of many lost men
Now there's greystone chapel here at Folsom
Stands a hundred years all made of granite rock
It takes a ring of keys to move here at Folsom
But the door to the House of God is never locked
Inside the walls of prison my body may be but my Lord has set my soul free
There are men here that don't ever worship
There are men here who scoff at the ones who pray
But I've got down on my knees in that greystone chapel
And I thank the Lord for helpin' me each day
Now there's greystone chapel here at Folsom
It has a touch of God's hand on ever stone
It's a flower of light in a field of darkness and it's givin' me the strength to carry on
Inside the walls of prison my body may be but my Lord has set my soul free
Granted, Johnny didn't write the song, but he agreed with the message.
As origional artists go, Johnny was only one of the best
(this is coming from a power blues/ metal youth/acid rock man)
As a good Christian, Johnny was more like Jesus then most of you.
Now Johnny Cash? Son of a... is there ANYTHING that Stewart doesn't hate?!?
Okay, is there anything legal that Stewart doesn't hate?
He could loose all his fundie fans if they knew the extent of his working with people they hate, or have been told to hate.
Good. Johnny was too good to waste on idiots.
Johnny was an origional from day one to his last breath. The most talented artist to emerge from 60s country and western. He never even crossed over to Rock or tried to appeal to Rock,, Rockers just found him from his early rockabilly edge to his 80s generic country.
He was a Christian, not a recruiter for Christ, more of you need to emulate him.
He did an audiobook of the KJV. He did a song in his later life based off of the book of Revelations, "The Man Comes Around", which is a good song for both theists and atheists, IMHO.
How was he not a Christian? There is no answer to this question, and there never will be.
Confused?
