I don't think you need a tinfoil hat. I think you need to skip straight to having a visit from the nice men in the white coats. They're going to take you on a little trip, but don't worry, they'll bring you a special jacket to keep you warm!
Actually this isn't crazy, its more likely to happen than the bible.
But that says something on how likely the bible is to happen.

Just to test this, I pulled the bible and other religious books off the shelf. And sure enough, there WAS something behind them. Had lots of legs. Moved awfully quickly. My first thought was that it's either a small centipede or a large silverfish. But, if you insist that it was a creator, I'll take your word for it.
