not to be “that guy” but the notion that “greater power” is equal to a white man was pretty much my previous religion’s doctrine

white supremacy doesn’t need a single doctrine in order to establish itself, it’s already well-established that religion has often been used as a tool of racism. this runs alongside, not against, the fact that a bulk of white atheism comes from establishing the white self as the god figure, just without the ritualistic trappings of organized religion, even though there’s a violently evangelical way that white people tend to talk about atheism, especially in the face of theistic people of color.
