Gee, and I thought it was supposed to be a good idea to pay my house off. I don’t make enough money any more to pay myself rent. I hope they’ve budgeted for body bags, though, because I do make enough to buy ammunition.

So basically, you're going to take out your frustrations at your own financial failures on innocent people?
Yep, there's that christian love.
I actually agree with this one. Property = debt. (Well, not always, but most of the time.) However, killing your creditors is not the solution. Renting instead of buying is more like it.

Where's the chorus of Republicans chanting "personal responsibility" when you need them?
If someone else can't pay their rent, pay for medical care, pay for food, pay for clothing for their children, etc. you guys don't give a fuck and blame them for it, so why aren't you blaming yourself because you can't afford rent instead of whining about it, blaming someone else for it, and trying to get pity?

I'm sure they'll only need the one.
Moonbattery, when you don't like something, threaten to shoot as many people as possible. Or at least liberals and government employees, 'cause that's moral.
You do pay yourself rent but you dont notice it.
1. Insurance on the property.
2. Property taxes
3. Water rates
4. Some rental places provide heat in the rent. You pay for all heating.
You just dont pay rent each month in actual money.

Given today's low investment returns, it probably is, since your mortgage interest is likely to be more than you could make investing the money elsewhere. This has no effect on what's called "imputed rent income", which if put into the tax law for owner-occupied housing for other than actual rental income would be owed whether you pay your mortgage off or not.

No wonder the rest of the world thinks we're psycho when it comes to guns.
So spend all your money on guns and ammo, then when you go broke, kill your creditors.
Yay Personal responsibility!
He's referring to a "loophole" in the tax code. Apparently, the federal government does not tax the difference in payment between a mortgage and rent you would pay for a comparable house.
In otherwords, if you rented a house, you might have to pay say $2,000 a month. Because you own the house, you only pay $1,000 a month in mortgage. The government feels (at least according to the article quoted at Moonbattery) that the $1,000 you save from not renting should be counted and taxed as income. The fact that they don't tax it is considered a loophole.
If true (and I have no desire to look it up), I quite agree with his sentiment. It would be ridiculous to charge a person on money they didn't spend.
And, of course, the problem in America is that there are not enough guns, not too many. Don't be stupid. Giving angry fuckwits guns will only lead to the victory of freedom and kittens.
So, look up Ruby Ridge and see what did Randy Weaver the best good in his arsenal: Pistol, Rifle, or Lawyer?
Can you afford a lawyer?
Confused?
