[Excuse me? And you were yelling at me for allegedly defaming your character in faith? You just defamed yourself.
"God's Perfect Hatred" is certainly a term that you made up yourself, and indeed is something similar to what we have heard from the mouths of Islamic hardline fundamentalists, who look for any reason to do away with non-believers.
The term "perfect hatred" is a sick oxymoron. It's like saying "divine holocaust", or "blessed murder". The two do not go together, and it reduces God's concept and wisdom to a holy serial killer. And that is]
Christalee,
In every act of sin, we casually kick aside the perfect Law of God. We virtually remove God from the throne of power, and place ourselves upon the throne. Sin is rebellion! It is, in fact, no different than the rebellion of Lucifer and his angels. That is why God hates sin. Based on scripture, I would have to conclude that God also hates certain types of sinners. Perhaps that is why God "gives them up." (Re: Romans 1)
Sin cannot be unpunished. Unless a sinner's sins were punished in Christ, God will pour out His wrath upon the sinners themselves. That is why Hebrews 10:31 says,
"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
His Hatred is Holy!
