Well, if we suddenly have a large mass exodus of born-again christians flying off into the sky, well, that might be worthy of consideration. Just like if the resurrection story of Jesus was more reliable or even verifiable - seems like Jesus went to alot of trouble just for his story to rely on what amounts to a folk tale. Hell, you'd have thought that the historians of the day might notice a MAN RISING FROM THE DEAD - but I guess that sort of thing wouldn't be noteworthy.
Anyway, there have been versions of religious wild claims throughout history - none of them have been true or verified. Most religions are laughed at now, their impact to society long faded.
Why are your claims, or your religion even, any different?
I'm not holding my breath, although the prospect of a world suddenly freed of fundies is rather attractive. It almost makes me wish there was a grain of truth to this (c)rapture rubbish, but alas, there isn't.
So we'll continue to be entertained by the ramblings of the deluded waiting for something that will never happen.
