I have been present at both a Halal offering (slaughter), albeit an illegal one in a back yard, and a modern industrial mass slaughter house and have witnessed first hand how things are done. I honestly believe the animals suffer less in Halal/Kosher/small farm country style slaughter than at the mass industrial places.
I thought conservatives hated vegetarians and animal-rights activists, and enjoyed hunting?

I kinda hope this person's far-left, personally...left-wing fundies don't seem to be as blaringly common as the right-wing sort, so it's kinda almost refreshing to hear every now and again! Extremism of any kind tends to become unhealthy, after all...

You do realize that the whole point of Halal and Kosher slaughter is to ensure the animal suffers as little as possible, correct? I'm not sure about Halal, but if an animal feels fear and the death isn't instant, the meat can't be Kosher.
Also, did you just suggest cannibalism? You may actually be insane.
