Ever State—and by all means the Federal Supreme Court of the land should add a Constitutional amendment that reads thusly:
‘Neither the State/United States (whichever you prefer), through any of its branches or departments, nor any of its agencies, political subdivisions, municipalities or school districts, shall enact, adopt or enforce any statute, regulation, ordinance or policy whereby homosexual, lesbian or bisexual orientation, conduct, practices or relationships shall constitute or otherwise be the basis of, or entitle any person or class of persons to have or claim any minority status, quota preferences, protected status or claim of discrimination. This Section of the Constitution shall be in all respects self-executing.”
And that’s exactly the way it should read!!

that's fine, as long as you go ahead and include every other aspect of an individual that might constitute minority status liek religion, ethnicity, disability, etc. That still doesn't get you off the hook for giving people who are Hell, not even a minority anymore I suppose, their du rights along with teh rest of society.

Lety me explain to you what the word "minority" means- in layman's terms (and in practice), a minority is a subset of the population that represents less than 50% of the population.
A subset of the population that represents even 49.999% of the population is technically a minority, even if by an extremely small margin.
Now, since the statistic that 10% or less of the population is gay is most likely true, how in the hell can you not say that being gay is not being in a minority?
