Since the left thinks we’re being mean to them, and the SC narrowly ruled that they can be treated as other than the war criminals they are, a reader at NRO’s The Corner comes up with a solution to the entire problem:

"Let’s free all Gitmo detainees—on a vast, deserted, open and contested Afghan battlefield. C-130 gunship circling overhead for security. Give them all a two minute running head start."

After all, we picked them up on the battlefields of the War on Terrorism, so no objection to putting them back on to the battlefield, and then dealing with them as one deals with any enemy who has not surrendered.

Harsh joking aside, all this SC ruling does it make it less and less worthwhile for us to even take prisoners in this struggle - we’re dealing with people who strap bombs on autistic children and send them off on suicide missions—and the ivory tower types wish to treat this as an episode of “Law and Order”! The world isn’t a theory, good people; it is a very real place where very real people do very real things - and when someone opts to become part of a terrorist outfit, one takes the risk of a horrific
death and rough treatment if captured.

Ever State—and by all means the Federal Supreme Court of the land should add a Constitutional amendment that reads thusly:

‘Neither the State/United States (whichever you prefer), through any of its branches or departments, nor any of its agencies, political subdivisions, municipalities or school districts, shall enact, adopt or enforce any statute, regulation, ordinance or policy whereby homosexual, lesbian or bisexual orientation, conduct, practices or relationships shall constitute or otherwise be the basis of, or entitle any person or class of persons to have or claim any minority status, quota preferences, protected status or claim of discrimination. This Section of the Constitution shall be in all respects self-executing.”

And that’s exactly the way it should read!!

For starters—A list of laws I would sign into law if I were POTUS for morality.

1. A Constitutional amendment for the protection of life, making abortion illegal in all 50 states.

2. A Constitutional amendment making marriage between One Man and One Woman for Life in all 50 states.

3. A Constitutional amendment for the re-constitution of Sodomy laws.

4. A Constitutional amendment banning the production of pornographic material and on the Internet.

5. A Constitutional amendment outlawing the teaching of sexual education in our schools.

6. A Constitutional amendment allowing prayer and Bible reading in our schools.

7. A Constitutional amendment that allows for the teaching of the account of Creation in school, and extra funding to research on that end.

8. A Constitutional amendment making the Death Penalty mandatory for the act of murder and rape in all 50 states.

9. A Constitutional amendment that allows Christians to promote Christianity in the public symbolically.

10. A Constitutional amendment banning taxes for the working to elderly/fixed income folk.

11. A Constitutional amendment that allows for the use of public property for Christian based events.

What would become of America after all that?

She would rise to be great and honorable, and other countries would respect and honor her!!
