If it wasn't for science you wouldn't have the phrase, 'light years' because the bible writers thought that the stars were pinpricks in the great fabric that encompassed the earth. In revelations it says that jesus will hold a number of stars in his hand. Why didn't 'god' deem it neccessary to tell us that the universe is endless adn that the stars we see are billions of times bigger then the earth, and so far away from each other that you have to measure the distance by how many years of traveling the speed of light it takes to reach them? Hell, they thought water came bubbling up from the ground like the oilwell in the 'Beverly Hillbillies'.
Evolution has everything to do with biology. It was one of THE major advancements in biology.
Listen, God, if it is only referred as a name, is NOTHING. Evolution has a lot to do with biology, because the world is full of proofs. The Bible, let´s face, WAS WRITTEN BY A NOMAD SHEPPERD PEOPLE WHO WAS ROOTED IN A PRE-SCIENTIST ERA. Please, even if inspired by God, they had a limited account of information and, besides, it was never their intention to be like Einstein. Caesar to Caesar, and God to God.
