What Davy doesn't seem to realize is that he paints both the angels and God himself as very weak minded and impotent. So an angel can fall to sin because a woman didn't cut her hair and supposedly an uncovered head can show and tempt them to sin?
It suggests the angels are incredibly weak minded, and lack an ounce of convinction or faith. Hmm..

In the bible it says to remove the plank from your own eye before you point out the speck in your neighbor's eye. And we have a saying about those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. There may be a few other witticisms against hypocrisy out there.
