1. Africans brought to American 3.5 centuries, 1500's to 1800's slavery; between 4 and 15 million!
2. African American babies killed in 33 years since roe v. wade 16 million!
3. That's about 1,400 a day; over 365 days that would be about 510,000 or the entire population living in Washington DC. In less than one tenth of hte 350 years, 33 years, abortion has killed more African American Children than were enslaved during the entire period of slavery. That makes the pro-abortion community a far worse society than the slave owners!

I prefer fully sentient and emotional humans freedoms than that of a clump of cells. Hey, that's my take on it.
Every time you scratch your nose, you commit genocide. But only if you believe cells are people.
I love how the pro-embryo crowd looooves to tout 1973 as the landmark year in which abortion was legalized. Because, as we all know, it was completely illegal in all 50 states before that, and no woman ever had an abortion prior to Roe v. Wade. In fact, our population has dropped since then because we keep aborting all our children, and now the goddamned heathen Chinese and dirty Mexicans are taking over. Damn the Supreme Court!
Yeah, ok.

Is that so?
Cite sources for your information, please, or I will have to assume that you just made those numbers up, as usual.
Hey, The Watcher , not to play the devil's advocate or anything, but I'm sure more than one woman has been killed by a botched abortion.
Abortion... such a lovely word.
Did you know that natural abortions out-strip medical abortions by a huge margin? Did you know that natural abortions out-strip pregnancies brought to term by a huge margin? Did you know that roughly 60% of all conceptions are naturally aborted?
Did you know that all your figures for medical abortions are just pissing in the wind compared to what nature does?
By your argument, that makes nature far worse than slavery... but are you trying to attack nature?
Then why attack us for simply doing what nature does?
Since he specified "Africans brought to American," I'm guessing those numbers (made up or not) don't include those born into slavery.
In any case, his argument hinges on being a slave being preferable to being aborted. How many people would agree that that is the case? I wouldn't expect someone who advertises his military service in his username to have such a "live free or don't" attitude.
... "between 4 and 15 million."
Now, if you're going to make statistics up, at least get your numbers to match. 4 and 15 are nowhere near each other, silly! *singsong voice* Someone needs to go back to kin-der-gar-tennn!
Using ethics comparing strict numbers fails. Situationally, many of those abortions saved lives or saved many people, both parents and children, from unwanted pregnancies. You can't compare the two.
Sykotik489: is it just me or is that counter going backwards? Everytime the 2 number at the far right reach a hundred there is 1 abortion less?
And if the counter was "real" there would be more than 50 million abortions a year in America. That's 1/6th of it's population. People don't get pregnant and abort that much. Still, it has some comedy value if people didn't take it seriously.
Saying that people who enslaved others, beat them, raped them, starved them, and killed them in various terrible ways are "far better" than people who support a woman's ability to remove an embryo from her body is absolutely disgusting.
One of the things about this issue is that they don´t realise that there were abortions at the time, of course, not in clinics, but there were. Second, to measure what is "far worse", use parameters accordingly. Slavery has to do with the loss of the dignity of a person, and with the installement of an ideology whose consequences go beyond the abolition of slavery. Following your logic, Hitler and Stalin didn´t kill as many people as all the ones who have been put to death in the electric chair by the state or the people who die victims of domestic violence in the world.
A middle class white guy (who probably complains constantly about his tax dollars going to welfare) moralizing about black women (mostly poverty level probably) having abortions(I bet money somewhere else that this clown complains about teen pregnancies). PS This jerkoff doesn't care about abortion, he just gets off ontelling eveyone else what to do.
No, forget about abortion, what about all those millions of potential people that get killed every month when women menstruate! All those helpless little human eggs dying slowly in a river of blood!
And us men are even worse! Many of us kill millions of potentially sentient beings almost daily for our own selfish perversions!
See, I can put arbitrary "starting points" on life and make everyone look like a mass murderer as well.
Because kidnapping, beating, selling, raping, setting dogs upon and murdering blacks for the sake of free labor is much less worse than the removal of cell clumps. Gotcha.
Besides, you forget that countless kids were born after this guys were brought from Africa, who were slaves. You don´t count the million blacks who were damaged until 1965 and today(to a a lesser extent) and, finally, you forget that blacks die naturally more than Whites due to their appaling conditions and that their birth rate, supercedes whatever abortion one and there is no imbalance. If you want to hand out numbers to measure the subjective "what harms African American", get the facts straight.
Tell me, did you make up this 16 million number the same way you made up the 6000-year-old Earth thing?
It looks like you've misinterpreted and extrapolated outdated documents in both cases, and come to the relevant doomsday-esque conclusions.
Ah, you amuse me ...
@ Sykotik489
That's nothing this site puts the number at 1.5 BILLION.
Two years on - that site puts it at 1.57 billion.
So that is roughly 70 million in two years - in America alone!!!
That's roughly 1/4 of the US population - or most women of child bearing age having had an abortion in the last 2 years!
Smells like bullshit - and the "estimated average" (?) claim on the website is a little bit suspect!
Crikey - in the time I took to compose this message about 15 abortions happened in america and it is only about 7 a.m. on the East coast!
The site is a constant count that assumes abortions are carried out steadily - 24 hours a day every day of the week!
How can you compare kidnapping of people to another continent to live their lives (and all their offspring's lives) in slavery, with removing a non-conscious bit of flesh, the size of your finger?
And where have you found these figures?
Once and for all (nah, I don't even believe that myself), there is no pro-abortion community. Nobody thinks it's fun to have an abortion. For the umpteenth time, it's pro-choice. Sometimes this is a lesser of two evils, and then the option to have it done, safely in a hospital, should be there. Prohibiting abortions only pushes them underground, to unsafe environments, and quack practitioners. It does not reduce the number of abortions significantly.
@ Sykotik489
Damn, that site is psychotic!
Don't you have to be born first, to become a person who can statistically die?
It said that half of the deaths on this world are from abortions. I believe that when they can produce hard evidence.
They must include all spontanious or natural abortions too... I know lot's of people who've had natural abortions, including myself, but I don't know of any who have had a medical abortion done.
A quick termination of something not even aware of it's existence yet vs. 30-40 years of backbreaking labor, torture and subhuman existence.
Yeah, abortion is way worse than slavery.
Even if those statistics were correct (which I sincerely doubt, but I'm too lazy to look them up), our fine friend HM(head messed?)3 has omitted one small detail. The slaves had no option about their slavery, but nobody FORCED all those African American mothers to abort their fetuses (not babies). Subtle difference that ruins a perfectly good, but false, analogy.
Confused?
