"You guys are really pathetic,..."
I'm willing to bet that you won't be thinking that when you're in Hell, looking up at us "pathetic" creationists.
Life is short, death is eternal for the non-believer, and your arrogance will evaporate in the fires of Hell.
Your belief in THAT is not required.
Nonetheless, you will receive prayers, in the probably-futile hope that some day you will be loosed from Satan's grasp, and embrace God.

You know what? Ok! If, when I die (hopefully a long long time from now) I find that getting into heaven requires a complete lack of logic or knowledge about the world I lived in.. then my first question will be "why?"
The next part will be saying to the morningstar - "dude.. you were totally right. That guy's a dick"

Hell is imaginary. When we are dead, accepters of the ToE or creationist, we won't be looking up at anything. We'll be DEAD, our inanimate remains rotting away in the ground or ashes in a vessel.
"Life is short, death is eternal for the non-believer,"
and for the believers, too.
"and your arrogance will evaporate in the fires of Hell."
As I said, hell is imaginary. If you have credible evidence that hell exists, now is the time to present it.
"Your belief in THAT is not required."
Indeed, belief does not change facts. Please present a fact which proves hell to exist.
"Nonetheless, you will receive prayers,"
Woohoo! Prayers which have been shown in test after test to be as effective as doing nothing at all.
"in the probably-futile hope that some day you will be loosed from Satan's grasp, and embrace God."
"probably-futile?" Your Bible promises that if you pray for something in Jesus' name, you'll receive that something. Is you Bible in error? Is your God too weak? Is your God imaginary? I'm going with God is imaginary.
Nonetheless, you will receive prayers, in the probably-futile hope that some day you will be loosed from Satan's grasp, and embrace God.
'Cause God probably needs a hug, the poor guy. Having people like jim35 claiming to represent you can really bring a deity down.
But what's this? I think I might smell a hint of recognition, on some level, that prayer is essentially a way of pleading with thunderstorms, and doesn't work because there's nothing there to listen. Either that, or Jim means he isn't going to bother to pray very hard, and that's not very Christian of him, now is it?
The lion who is supposed to find a way to eat and digest grass in heaven, you mean? I'd prefer to be the lamp, I suspect, if not for the presence of that sicko Adam....

Of course, given the multitude of religions in the world, the chances are (assuming we atheists are wrong) that the creationists will be in the pit of fire/snakes/cheese (delete as applicable) along with me. At which time their lifetime of obedience, prayer and servility to an imaginary god will seem more than a little pathetic.
I may also laugh.

They said the same thing when Franklin invented the lightning rod: "I'm willing to bet that you won't be thinking that when you're in Hell, looking up at us "pathetic" people who refused to thwart God's will with the devil's lightning rod...".
Your whole post is impossible to make head or tail of. One, death is not eternal for the non-believer. They just don´t think that there´s something after life. Second, the assumption of "well, you´re right but you´ll be in Hell" is utterly ridiculous. If reality denies what is written in the Bible it´s YOU, not the sceptic people, who have to rearrange your own beliefs and adapt. In other words, why is God going to be so sly for, all in a sudden, and for no good reason, give right to some people and condenm them?, it makes no sense.
Creationism is not a requirement for salvation. If it were, Jebus would probably have mentioned it.
Your post reeks of insecurity and spite. If you were strong in faith, you would not need to threaten people who disagree with you.
I love these fuckers who never EVER consider the question, "What if I'm wrong?"
It's just not possible, because, well, if it was, then my life would be, well, a meaningless cycle of bullshit punctuated by hatred, contempt, and vindictiveness.
So, no way I'm wrong.
So you're saying God gave us brains so we could be commanded not to use them. Good point. Then again, He did give me a sex drive so that I could be commanded not to use it, and He did reveal the Bible so that we wouldn't scrutinize it too closely.
Creationism is not a requirement for salvation. If it were, Jebus would probably have mentioned it.
Clearly, if you don't believe every word of the Bible as literally true, you're not really accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are doomed to spend eternity in Hell.
Therefore, repent NOW, and believe in the TRUTH of the square Earth !
unbiblical doctine
what hell ?
your Bible says the dead will be resurrected at the time of the final judgement, and sinners cast into a lack of fire for the final death.
so no loafing about in heaven until judgement day, you just are dead like everyone else, and sinners simply get the final death, no eternal torment.
Bad luck.
“I'm willing to bet that you won't be thinking that when you're in Hell, looking up at us "pathetic" creationists.”
Pretty sure i’ll find creationists pathetic, even if your afterlife comes true.
When i was Christain, i couldn’t imagine enjoying anyone receiving eternal punishment. It goes against any concept of love or mercy or justice. Just petty revenge.
If it turns out that God really is that evil and petty, I’ll find Him pathetic. If anyone stands at His feet and enjoys the suffering of their opponents, they’re even more pathetic.
Confused?
