Christians are losing their constitutional rights, especially under the obama administration. But you will notice the muslims , the obama administration is importing here by the droves from Somalia, and elsewhere , their rights are magnified to no end! Look at the U>S> service men that are jailed or discharged for sharing their faith or displaying a Christian cross around their neck, or any Christian type tattoos. Christian clergy , in the military are being persecuted , jailed , and discharged for sharing their faith as well, and that is their job! they must keep their "FAITH" within the confines of the worship area. There was a time when they were highly respected, I know colonels who would not over rule a chaplain. The Christian faith is under attack , once we were considered a Christian nation, founded on Christian belief system, and we were a GREAT nation. Now we throw GOD out , and we are no longer much of a nation whatsoever.

Except that's bullshit. Nobody is trying to take your constitutional rights away; all they're doing is insuring that you are required to obey the same laws as everybody else, in the sense that you are no longer allowed to disallow homosexuals from marrying, because that shit was never in the consitution or the bible.
And the US was not a Christian nation at any point in its history. You people are still seventy+ percent of the population, and there is just no way to oppress a majority that size.
"Christians are losing their constitutional rights"
From the POV of the likes of Hammer Harris, who thinks it's in the US Constitution that Christians (TRUE Christians, that is) are to have rights like:
- daily mandatory teacher-led school prayer.
- all laws are to be based on their interpretation of the Bible.
- True Christian employees who again and again refuse to do their job "to avoid going against God's Word" can't be fired and must be paid full salary.
- True Christians can only be held legally responsible for actions against other True Christians.
If you Google, "service men jailed for displaying cross," the only hit you get that's even close is for a veteran lying about his service record and wearing a Navy Cross .
So bullshit, you asshole. ... not that such doodads have ever been an accepted part of the uniform. One wears such things inside the shirt!

We are a nation under a false god, that's why we have gone under. The real god is Allah.

Oh, no, not this crap again... They really love playing the victim, don't they?
Pal, not being allowed to force your beliefs upon others does not mean you are losing your rights. It means the others "merely" get the same rights as you.
SPECIAL PRIVILEGES ARE NOT RIGHTS!

But then, he did go loopy, so there's the 'Plausible Deniability' angle that can be used. By you fundies, who can't bear to let go of your God-Emperor with brain of clay.
Christians are losing their constitutional rights
No they're not. They still have a right to believe as they want to.

Treaty Of Tripoli: Article 11
As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.
What Constitutional rights are you Christians losing?
What rights do the Muslims have that Christians don't have?
Forcing others to comply with your religion is NOT a Constitutional right, dearie.
The US of A is MORE "godly" today than it was 20 years ago, I'd say. The more fundamentalist you become, the less GREAT you are.
Christians are religionists. The Gospel of Jesus is a religion.
Didn't the puritans go to the New World so that they could refuse others freedom of worship?
Let me get this straight; you quote that, thanks to Christians founding the US, people of other faiths have freedom to worship, RIGHT AFTER you berate people for coming there and using that freedom?
Was Ronnie already on his way into dementia there? You are One Nation, Indivisible.
Damn, it's a shame that those who wrote the Constitution forgot to mention that christianity was the basis for everything. Fuck, how could they have been so dumb???
Also, if a Muslim acted like the dumb cunt in Kentucky and stopped issuing marriage licenses due to his religious beliefs I would fully expect the weight of the law to fall upon him.
I don't know what military rules are about wearing jewelry of any sort while in uniform, but I don't even have to Google to know no one's ever been jailed or discharged for getting a tattoo with a Christian-theme.
No, you don't "know colonels" who took orders from chaplains. As far as I know, it's never been the chaplains' job to proselytize, but to provide counsel and perform church services for those who want them. If there have been any disciplinary actions taken, it's probably in one of the many cases that have come to light in which evangelical officers have mercilessly harassed servicemen/women who weren't receptive to their religious indoctrination and forced participation in religious activities. See: Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. But no one was jailed or discharged there, either, AFAIK,
Christians are losing their constitutional rights
Christians have constitutional rights; the government does not. Read the actual wording of the First Amendment: it doesn't give people religious freedom; it takes away the government's ability to endorse or interfere with religion. The problem arises when someone is both a private individual and also a government employee. When the person is acting as an individual, they have religious freedom. When they're acting as a representative of the government, then they must abide by the rules applicable to the government.
Get back to us when an atheist has any chance of being elected to any political position in the USA.
Reagan Snr made that statement on 23 August 1984 at a Dallas prayer breakfast. According to Ron Jnr his father was already suffering from senile dementia at that time.
Ron Reagan recounts having concerns as far back as 1984.
"Watching the first of his two debates with 1984 Democratic presidential nominee Walter Mondale, I began to experience the nausea of a bad dream coming true. At 73, Ronald Reagan would be the oldest president ever reelected...[M]y father now seemed to be giving them legitimate reason for concern. My heart sank as he floundered his way through his responses, fumbling with notes, uncharacteristically lost for words. He looked tired and bewildered."
So, a pack of lies, a fake quote and another from a man with dementia. Forgive me if I don't take your opinions very seriously.

Your 'God' is infinitely worse than the Devil, and I can prove it:

God: 2,038,344
Satan (and only on God's authorisation): 10
Anon-e-moose: 0
Isaiah 45:7: 'I form the light, and create darkness : I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. '
Amos 3:6: 'Does the trumpet alarm sound in a city, without the people being afraid? Does evil happen to a city, and Yahweh hasn't done it? '
Thanks for the perfect advertisement for Luciferism, fundies. The 'Mystery' of the Bible is decoded: Lucifer - 'Satan' - is the good guy in all of this, and your 'God' is actually the Evil One. [/Ebon]
So sweetride you say we're of the devil though we are for equal rights, tolerance and freedom for all. By your standard, that's now of the devil. Way to go. You made the devil seem good and now proven yourself a satjnanist. Or are you just a horrible excuse for a Christian? If True2God and Jerry are the nails in the coffin of Christianity you are the hammer. But please keep going with it. You three are helping destroy your version of Christianity.
they must keep their "FAITH" within the confines of the worship area.
I remember when we had "Free Speech Zones" fenced off so W wouldn't have to see them, at least one was 2 miles from his sainted eyes.
@ #1858270
In Navy boot camp, 1966, we HAD to go to church every week, sit through the crap while the Blue Jackets Choir marched around the building singing Anchors Aweigh. We could either be Catholic or Protestant, and this on our dog tags. We did have one Jewish guy in our barracks who was let out on Friday evenings, but he also had to sit in church and suffer with us on Sunday and get Jesused.
@#1858287
He IS a dick, isn't he?
STFU you whiner.
That is all.
Shut up God has every right to take away life
He does for three reason to save someone life, to stop babies from growing into sinners, and to destroy the wicked people. And how many chances will you give a person God will give them a billion chances
swer: At first it might seem that if God created all things, then evil must have been created by God. However, evil is not a “thing” like a rock or electricity. You cannot have a jar of evil. Evil has no existence of its own; it is really the absence of good. For example, holes are real but they only exist in something else. We call the absence of dirt a hole, but it cannot be separated from the dirt. So when God created, it is true that all He created was good. One of the good things God made was creatures who had the freedom to choose good. In order to have a real choice, God had to allow there to be something besides good to choose. So, God allowed these free angels and humans to choose good or reject good (evil). When a bad relationship exists between two good things we call that evil, but it does not become a “thing” that required God to create it.
Perhaps a further illustration will help. If a person is asked, “Does cold exist?” the answer would likely be “yes.” However, this is incorrect. Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. Similarly, darkness does not exist; it is the absence of light. Evil is the absence of good, or better, evil is the absence of God. God did not have to create evil, but rather only allow for the absence of good. Got question.com

Impossible for it to fly, therefore not an aircraft. Travels above the water, therefore not a ship. Question: How can it exist, if it is not either ?
Rainbows. Do they exist? Yes or No?
Your 'God' hardened pharaoh's heart. Therefore 'Free Will' does not exist. Oh, amd question: Which pharaoh was it that Moses* dealt with?
*- Therein lies the vagueness about which pharaoh - not precisely named in the Bible - and therefore the lie of the Bible as a whole: There isn't a single shred of proof that this 'Moses' even existed - outside of that whole fairytale - in the first place. Rather like your equally nonexistent 'God', Weetryhard.
So God is not pro life then and has no place to judge others who will not kill regardless of reasons. And if the devil will punish the wicked then he is doing God's will and thus sides with God. Thus your entire argument is fail. You really should have stopped a long time ago. Now you have damaged Christianity far more than any Pagan or atheist ever could. Though considering your arguments that may have been your intention all along. Or you are a troll. Though with the latter, it only shows how far Christianity falls that it needs trolls.
@Weetryhard
Yes, that's nice dear. Do you keep him in that shoebox under your bed?
Now you go back and feed him dear, the adults are talking.
God did not have to create evil, but rather only allow for the absence of good.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Until recently, Native American religious ceremonies were seen as seditious.
When your religious ceremonies are prohibited by strictly enforced law, you can say you are persecuted.
