God is Jesus,Jesus is God-If buddha was someone special he would have mentioned the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He fails and is a false prophet thats going to lead loads of ignorant souls with him to hell.
Can you imagine getting rid of an evil spirit(demon) in the name of buddha?
Healing a sick person in the name of buddha?
Doing spiritual warfare in buddha's name?
Nope.... it just won't happen!

No, I don't imagine getting rid of imaginary evil spirits, using cheap parlor tricks to make someone 'healed', or killing (insert followers of other religion here) in the name of Buddha.
That is because Buddha is a pretty cool guy and he doesn't need to do that shit to look good.
Why would Buddha, living thousand of miles away would foresee the coming of a guy whose impact in his place and fellows would be minimal up to day?, why, if even their fellow mates the Jewish didn´t bothered much when he preached and don´t bother now, for that matter?.
You know, I have quite a nasty cold at the moment, so last night I asked Buddha to make my cold better and this morning I don't feel quite so bad.
Now when fundies do this they put it down to the healing power of Christ. So I guess I must have felt the healing power of Buddha, right?
You lose.
Buddha never claimed to a prophet. Therefore, he cannot be a 'false prophet.'
He also never mentioned Jesus because it didn't impact his area of the world. During the time period Jesus supposedly occupied, the Middle East probably wasn't even aware that China existed, and vice versa.
By the way, spiritual warfare is a bad thing, and no, I can't see anyone committing it in Buddha's name.
As a practicing Buddhist, I have to laugh at this one.
Buddha wouldn't have had reason to mention the coming of Jesus. Buddhists don't believe in God.
He's not a prophet. He was a man who found enlightenment and showed others the path they could take for themselves.
No need to get rid of a demon in the name of Buddha, as demons are simply the creation of the mind, and as such, are impermanent.
Buddhists rely on science for healing.
One of the fundamental principles of Buddhism is "ahimsa," which translates as "non-harming." In addition, Buddhists take vows to refrain from intentionally killing any sentient being. Spiritual warfare? No fucking way!
As Doctor Whom stated, "Can you imagine breaking free of the wheel of samsara in the name of Jesus?"
Can you imagine a Christian recognizing suffering as a result of grasping to impermanent phenomena?
Buddha is my Om boy.

I guess a lot of prominent Old Testament figures were no-one special too, as they didn't mention Jesus either.
Well let's see... we start with a false dichotomy, and then extend into complete and total ignorance about the nature of Buddhism. I mean, I'm not exactly knowledgeable on the subject, but I think I know more than this guy.
Budda is not a god, to begin with. And anyway, they do heal with religious paraphernalia too, and they use religion for a lot of things, not wars or spelling something that doesn´t exist, but they can spend nights and nights fasting to avoid reincarnation or taking care of their ancestors. By the way, why should Budda talk about a person born centuries after him and in a time or place years light from him?, the ignorant soul is.................you.
Actually in the book of Buddhism, I forgot what it was called, Buddha is Jesus's buddy.
Which gives me an idea for a sitcom...
CHUMS!
Starring the comedic talents of Buddha von Buddha and Jesus McJoseph.
-----------------------------------
*Scene opens on Jesus entering the living room. Buddha is watching TV.*
Jesus: Buddha, have you seen those loaves and fishes that I was going to feed the poor?
Buddha: Oh, those? I tossed them out.
Jesus: You tossed them out?! WHY?!
Buddha: *Sing-songy* Hey...Materialism IS the root of all evil! *Shrug*
*Audience Laughter*
Jesus: Buuuuuuuuuuddhaaaa!!!!! >_<
*Audience Laughter and applause.*

@Zidane
And buddists ROCK, when was the last time one of them attacked a gay, or fire bombed a abortion clinic?
Well, there's a Buddhist theocracy that's waging a war of aggression against Spain.
No, wait, that's my current game of Civilization IV. Nevermind...
and Jesus is anti-enlightenment. If he was for enlightenment he would have mentioned the Budha, the middle path, and..hey wait, this argument doesnt work!

I guess this guy never studied World Religions or he'd know that in Japan, there are preists and Onmyouji that get rid of demon/spirits in the name of Buddah and have been doing it for thousands of years.
Same with the sick and same with the warfare unfortunately.
"Spiritual warfare" does not refer to physical warfare, FYI. It's all about like Satan attacking you spiritually to make you feel afraid or to cause you to understand logic or want the cock and shit like that.
Also some sorts of Buddhism believe in demons and other supernatural beings.
Confused?
