So, dinosaurs evolved into birds, huh? Interesting that dinosaurs had big legs and small arms, whereas birds have big wings and tiny legs. Also of note is the fact that birds were designed to have very quick movements for flight, with light bone structures and amazing eyesight. Lizards and dinosaurs are/were quite the opposite.

I mean where does he get his info on dinosaurs? From an old victorian book or something?!
Although it sort of depends on which dinosaurs you're talking about. But we know Dinosaurs were NOT the slow, lumbering, stupid beasts portrayed by the victorians, which seems to be his idea of them.
@Old Viking - well I heard a few years back some experts were thinking pigeons may have evolved from T-rex's as their skeletal structure, especially the legs & feet, are remarkably similar. But I don't know if they've decided mroe recently that that's not the case.
IMO T-Rex's arms look like they're sort of becoming wings...albeit fried spicy chicken wings lol.

No one is saying that sauropods evolved into birds.
"Also of note is the fact that birds were designed to have very quick movements for flight, with light bone structures and amazing eyesight."
Not all dinosaurs were lumbering hulks, idiot.
"Lizards and dinosaurs are/were quite the opposite."
Not to mention that lizards and dinosaurs are/were quite different from each other.
So a pterodactyl had big legs and small arms hey? Were you holding your picturebook upside-down or something?

[Board pedants: I know that wasn't the ancestor of birds btw]
(oh ,and check out the size of their pinkies!)
(fingers people, fingers...)
Archaeopteryx, bitch.
Now fuck off.
By that reasoning, Great Danes and dachshunds mustn't be related.
Dinosaurs weren't lizards. Some birds (e.g., ostriches and emus) have short wings and don't fly. The skeletons of ornithomimid dinosaurs like struthiomimus look quite a bit like ostrich skeletons to the casual observer, except that they have tails.
Hmmmm, actually doesn't brachiosaurus have the biggest arms we know about?

oh, and blue whales have enormous hands.

Julian, you do know that pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs too, I hope.

Oh, really? Allow me to introduce Exhibit A:

Clearly, adult humans cannot have originated as human babies, because adult humans have big legs and big arms, whereas human babies have small legs and tiny arms.
Anyone who thinks that lizards and dinosaurs are synonymous doesn't have anything of interest to say. And they drop right to the bottom of the stupid-o-meter when they claim that all birds are built for flight.
Incidentally, birds have had tens of millions of years in which to evolve from dinosaurs. That is rather a long time, and rather a lot can change in it. I guess the average fundie brain is too small to grasp how large a number even a mere one million is.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
