The view of people who think sexuality comes in two categories:
Normal: reproductive sex between spouses in a one man, one woman marriage.
Perverted: Anything else.
So legitimizing ONE Perversion (homosexuality) will INEVITABLY lead to the legitimization of another (adult incest) and another (pedophilia) and so on.
And what's this 'informed consent' bullshit?

Talk about ambigous headlines. Was it his mother or his wife's mother? If the former, yes, it is incest. If the latter, then no, it isn't.
And if you use the slippery slope argument, you usually are admitting that you don't have a valid argument about the issue that is actually at hand.
He's actually crowing that his slippery slope argument is proven.

This is the same news site that gave us such stories as the woman believing herself to be a cat - she was born into the wrong species. So you think "what the fuck" but stories like that are to discredit transgenderism via a slippery slope, and stories like this one are to discredit gay marriage via a similar slippery slope.
Last Trump missed an opportunity to be smug about "yeah it's consensual but it's still disgusting". He's slipping a bit.
The slippery slope also include men divorcing their wives and getting a younger model every ten years or so, and a man saying he would bonk his daughter if she wasn't his daughter.
The bakers were fined for posting personal info about the lesbian couple, causing the couple a lot of death-threats and other forms of bullying. Why not just say "sorry, were fully booked that month"?
When was it glorious? The Depression? WWII? Korea war? Vietnam war? Afghanistan war? Iraqi war?
This story, IF TRUE, has nothing to do with law, and is something that could have happened at any time in the past. It is certainly more common than "persecuted" cake bakers.
What slippery slope? Incest was the preferred way of reproduction of Pharaohs for centuries. Meanwhile, homosexuality was not so well accepted.
As for the glory of America, when was it, already?

It's a pretty slippery slope, by the way, to go from "two consenting adults doing their thing" to "two consenting adults doing their thing". If we don't stop this now, we might end up with two consenting adults doing their thing!
It's a pretty long walk from "not illegal" to "protected and supported by the government".

Sounds like the sort of weirdness that fake-news sites conjure-up. I'll bet they used an extremely weird mugshot of an extremely weird person from an unrelated source to make it look "legit".
Also; I doubt anyone is fighting for this guy and his mom's "rights". Most folks are going "eewwww" like normal people.
That said; If this guy never really knew the woman all his life, they met later, and they're in a fully-consenting adult relationship, there's not much we can do than go "ewwww".
If you belong to a religion that frowns on LGBTs, it's one thing to go "yuck" but it's another to legislate and commit discrimination. Most approach adultery with "*tsk tsk tsk*" rather than "BAN IT!" so they should feel the same about LGBTs.
That said; There's nothing immoral about being GAY!

Okay, that's weird. But if they're happy and each consent to it, who fucking cares? There is nothing wrong with incest, as long as both parties are aware of the consequences if they reproduce. But since we don't forbid people with genetic diseases and shit to reproduce, we have no reason to forbid incestuous couples from doing the same, so they should be allowed to marry.
Because incest totally never happened before gay marriage was legalized in the States. Dumbass.
