Crackalyn from Beyond the Grave #racist answers.yahoo.com
When I was in school there were many black people and I noticed that even though we were in the same classes learning the same subjects and lessons, they still couldn't speak normally. I used to think when I was much younger that perhaps as we advanced further along in our English and language arts lessons that eventually all the other kids including the black ones would catch up and learn to speak proper English.
And black women, especially the very large ones, have a tendency to dress really ugly like they seriously have no idea how tacky they are? They wear this very obviously fake hair that looks like plastic and gets all dirty and nappy after couple of days and wear inappropriately tight and "sexy" clothing for their weight.
It makes me really sad because it just seems like a lot of them don't even want to be any better, and I'm not racist but it's so difficult to take anyone seriously when they refuse to speak English correctly or dress respectably, nor behave in a way that merits any respect.
And if you are a civilized black person then great! None of this actually applies to you! I'm just wondering about the ones who refuse to adapt!
Update: I already told you people I'm not a racist.
I am talking about the particular group of black people who refuse to better themselves. The ones who choose (yes, CHOOSE) to live in squalor, roam with gangs, and sell drugs because it makes them more "real" according to their "homies".
Even their so-called "proud" African ancestry is severely lacking in what can be considered "culture". Their culture is one of violence. Territory wars and blood diamonds, large roving renegade gangs committing violent crimes against anyone who stands in their way. They could be using the diamonds to improve their economy, but they choose instead to continue savage violence.
It is much the same in the 'States in the "project" neighborhoods. They have plenty of opportunity because of the public school system but it seems like they so fear peer rejection that they choose instead to remain stupid and violent and tacky.
Update 2: I think it is insane that I am being accused of being insane for asking what can be construed as a "taboo" question. I think this is as valid a question as any, as I am not referring to all black people. I am only referring to the black culture of violence and being "ghetto" for the sake of being ghetto.
Update 3: Rylan - Thank you for taking my question seriously and answering so thoroughly and respectfully. I realize that there are plenty of hot buttons that I have pushed with my question, but I felt that such detail was necessary so people would know what I am talking about.
I also think it's funny how people assume I am white simply because my avatar is. My avatar is some model.
