First, what makes you think that menstruation is "broken?" It's a natural process. No one with more than 4 living brain cells has referred to it as "The Curse" since Leonardo da Vinci was in short pants. I wasn't aware that this completely natural and biological process was broken. And it's as much a curse as the end product of the digestive system: something that you need to get rid of and is (admittedly) something unpleasant, but not a divine punishment.
