Freedom of Religion meant and still should be, not putting any sect of Christianity above any other. Look at the master draft of the bill of rights.
Americas founders believed in the philosophies of John Locke, which in A Letter Concerning Toleration you could interpret what he says as we should kick Muslims out because they are intolerant and cannot be held accountable to American laws. 3 out of 4 Mosques preach anti-Americanism.

America is the sum (or rather, more than the sum) of all of his citizens, be they jews, christians or muslims, heterosexuals or homosexuals.
SO by preaching against one large group (for example gays) you also preach anti-Americanism (which probably means that in more than 3 out of 4 christian fundamentalist churches anti-Americanism is being preached ;) )
TREATY OF TRIPOLI, BITCH.
(Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.)

Okay, then I'm a "Jesus Never Existed and Neither Did His 'Father'" Christian, my friend here is a "Jesus was the Prophet Before Mohammed" Christian, and those guys over there are "Jesus Wasn't as Good As Buddha", "Jesus is Satan's F**kdoll", "Jesus had an Elephant's Head and was Called Ganesh", "Jesus was Touched by His Noodly Appendage" and "Jesus Channelled the Power of the Earth Mother" Christians.
Since you don't get to say what is or is not a christian sect (which would amount to putting sects you approve of above those you don't), freedom of Christianity will be freedom of religion anyway.
Even at bigotry, you fail!
Have you ever actually, you know, met an American Muslim? No?
I checked your tag, and you're made of 100% Grade F fail. Congrats, and wash in cold water only.
Fail on Locke, Bill of Rights, founding fathers and American muslims. Yep he's fundie alright. If you don't know something, but want to make a point, lie!

Oh well if the rough draft says so.
Who the hell cars what the rough draft says, it’s the wording that actually made it into the Bill of Rights and therefore the Constitution that’s legally binding.

I'm confused. I thought Christianity wasn't a religion but a "relationship with Jesus." I guess it depends on what you stupid bastards want to whine about at the time, huh?

Uh, yeah. I don't think so.
I've read Locke, that's not what he said at all !
spouting shit like this is why people voice anti-Americanism in the first place.
DIPSHIT !
Freedom of Religion meant and still should be, not putting any sect of Christianity above any other.
Then why do you people keep going on about who is a 'True Christian'(TM)?
3 out of 4 Mosques preach anti-Americanism.
How the hell do you know this? Have you been to every Mosque in America?
And no American Churches preach anti-arabism, right?
You should kick Muslims out because they are intolerant? Have you even readh what you've written?

- So we implement your plan and within days (if not hours) the various denominations will be denouncing each other as "not really Christians." The winner will be the denomination that can amass the most political power, and the trail to the top will be soaked in tears and blood. As evidence, I cite every theocracy in human history, as well as the all but openly stated goals of prominent American Dominionists.
Ah, but I interrupted you. Please, tell me more about the Muslim;s intolerance.
Confused?
