[After posting old testament verses "proving" that the bible was against abortion, and being told that Judaism always puts the life and health of the mother above the fetus, which is not considered a person.]
Well, I'm not a Jew so this does not apply to me. That's like saying that Buddhists support abortion. I'm not a Buddhist, so why should I live by their rules and support abortion? I am a Christian and I follow what the Bible says, and the Bible clearly says that killing an unborn child is wrong.

When I was a child I had an imaginary friend named JoJo. As JoJo left when I was about 4 or so, I don't know what he believed. I'm wondering if this chick could actually be the JoJo I imagined as a child and I actually kicked him out because I couldn't stand him.
BTW, I know that this one is a girl. So what? I'm 30 years old now. JoJo might have died and been reincarnated as an all-knowing teenager by now for all I know.
Oh, wait. Somehow that would prove the existance of a god.
But I digress, nothing about this post itself. Just a cute anecdote about the name JoJo.
First, there is no reasonable biblical support for the anti-abortion position.
There is an old testament passage in which God's law clear values the life of the mother above that of a fetus, requiring the death penalty if the mother is killed but only a fine if the fetus is killed.
Second, following you own "logic," I would ask Xians not to promote anti-abortion legislation. I am not a Xian, so why should I live by their rules?
Third, JoJo, get a few new non-Xian friends. Try not to offend them with evangelism. Do a lot of listening and not much talking. This should help you get a bit of perpective on life. You are sadly lacking in that quality.
The ignorance and arrogance of this girl amazes me. I'm glad Sierra's there to beat it down, even if it's just for the lurkers, since the girl doesn't seem to have an iota of sense about her.
It's not even that she has differing beliefs from me, it's that she's horribly inconsistent with them and very self righteous.
I don't know where to find it in the english translation of the bible, but the Dutch version has something really nifty (damn that is an stupid word):
Mattheus 5 17:20
Which you won't understand but it translates and summarises to:
Mathew ? verse ? till ?
Jesus: Don't think that I have come to change or invalidate the law of the profets. I have cometo fullfill them.
For I will tell you that before the Heavens and Earth have passed not one piece of the law will be changed. He who disbands even the smallest of commandments and teaches it thus to the people shall be the most insignificant in the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who maintains the commandments and teaches them as such shall gain great honor.
And I will tell you that unless your justice is equal to that of the priests (can't traslate the titles and am to lazy to look for the translation) you shall never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Fin.
Sorry for the crappy translation but my english is good enough to communicate but not good enough to translate old dutch texts to normal english. So I just took the most important parts and traslated them so that the meaning would remain. Ask any Dutch guy to check my translation. And for doubters of the validity of the Dutch version, it comes from the Statenvertaling, which means that it is/was the official Dutch version of this bundle of paper. And the contents of the "good" book was determined in 1619 so modern censorship is virtually non existant.
Okay, and now we can continue the converstaion about jewish laws not being relevant for cristians.
Well, I'm not a Christian so your rules don't apply to me.
Somehow, though I'd love to be able to us it, I doubt this would get the fundies off my back.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
