I've heard it can be called "faithist"....and it can be referred to an atheist that hates people of faith.

I tire of the implication that atheists are anti-religious bigots.are anti-religious, it's not bigotry to oppose a philosophy .

The word is fine. Ageist, sexist, etc. follow the pattern tracifish used. Of course, that doesn't make what she said any less stupid.
