I have looked on Answers In Genesis and they only have books to read or DVD's to watch....but I am looking for something with a workbook or worksheets.

My kids have enjoyed listening to the Jonathan Park stories and have found they enjoy learning about creation science. But being in High School we need to step it up a bit, but not a super hard class....this is more of an elective.

As a Christian, I am happy to read this article. I think it's wonderful. I've often asked myself why the rainbow was the LGBT flag. And I agree with vonfirmath - we don't have to solve the world's problems before tackling smaller issues.

And why would anyone be embarrassed to be a Christian because of Ken ham? He's a very smart guy who supports and promotes a literal, 6-day creation and a young Earth. I like him a lot. We read lots of his books and articles.

It isn't going to be long before people are allowed to marry whomever and whatever they want to. Someone will marry their dog, another will marry their frog, and another will marry their lamp. I wonder how long it will be before it is legal to marry your sister. People don't take the Bible and God's law seriously anymore. People think they should be able to do whatever they want and it doesn't matter. It's too bad that when they finally find out it does matter, it will be too late for them.

I have thought this before too. Evolutionists act as if that's what has been believe since the beginning of time (millions of years ago? thousands?) I really haven't researched this topic enough to know the history of it. Is there anyone or group of people that believed in evolution before Darwin? There are creation stories from many cultures out there. Darwin is a newer theory compared to the history past down. I think many assume that we are more intelligent now because of our technological advances and this is the newest theory so... it must be right? Also, I would like someone to explain how you can evolve male and female of the same species. They need each other to procreate, but yet they are so different. How could they evolve at the same rate to be able to do that? "I'll make a cell that needs one of your cells to jump over, uh, make that swim, and join my cell." I'd need way more faith in that theory than I do in Creationism. Evolution, to me, is the world's excuse for trying to avoid the truth.

Wow. I have 4 little kids running/crawling around right now - and I only had time to skim through the first page... It seems (maybe others have weighed in since) that this 'conversation' is very one-sided. A lot of anti-Christian, former-Christian, loosely-Christian input...

I'm not angry here...just going to speak my mind. :)

I agree with creekland's first comment. I am a conservative Christian. I'm not reformed (I don't believe that the Church fulfills God's promises to Israel and so we need to establish a Christian nation, etc.)... Most Christians in my circle vote against homosexuality because

1) We believe it's a bad thing for our country - the breakdown of the traditional family has huge implications for our society. Okay, I know I'm getting attacked for that one, but it is what I firmly believe. I don't hate homosexuals or divorcees or adulterers or any sinners. I'm a sinner, too.

2) Homosexuals are some of the most hateful, bigoted, militantly anti-Christian people in this country. I don't get why I am supposed to tolerate people who are intolerant themselves? Look at Chick Fil A. We're not voting one way because we don't like you, or we want to control your lives. We know what's coming next.

Has anyone mentioned yet... The mayor of Houston recently demanded the SERMONS of PASTORS who spoke out against homosexuality. In Canada, pastors are being JAILED for SPEAKING against homosexuality. (Once again, not angry here, just trying to be heard in what I feel is a largely one-sided conversation.) Why is it "hate speech" for me to say that homosexuality is sin against God, but "free speech" for gays to kiss at Chick-Fil-A?

I think there is a lot of fear in the conservative Christian circles that giving more "freedom" and "power" to homosexuals means having our freedom taken from us.

This kind of attitude leaves us vulnerable to Big Brother. Just because what I'm doing is considered okay by Big Brother NOW does not mean that it will always be this way. As a Christian I am deeply concerned about the erosion of religious liberty in the U.S. over recent years, and am not hopeful for the future. I pray that I will never see Christianity outlawed during my lifetime, but it wouldn't surprise me if that happened eventually.

Yep, we as a human race are just pure evil. That is just the way we were born. Without God's saving grace we would be completely lost. It is only because God is absolutely good that I even have a chance to be so. Otherwise, yes, I would choose evil.
