Liberals like to portray conservatives as “hateful” when we identify things that are wrong.

The truth is that warning people of danger is a positive and loving thing. It is sad that we live in a world that condemns people for loving others enough to tell them the truth.

With so many bad things happening — e.g., Islamist attacks, corrupt politicians and bureaucrats, the crisis on our borders — it is easy to feel overwhelmed, get discouraged and assume that we are powerless to do anything about it.

While none of us are able to stop all the evil in the world, there are areas where we can be effective. Protecting our children is one of these areas.

I recently told the children in my Sunday School class that Satan is often a whisperer. The Devil likes to whisper and plant seeds in our minds that then lead us to do wrong.

If we listen to Satan’s whispers, they get louder and louder and, eventually, something that was known to be wrong gets shouted as a “right.”

One of Satan’s whispers that became a shout is liberals using homosexuality in their wars on religious freedom and children.

Just listen to the words of Chai Feldblum, Obama’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commission appointee, who stated in 2006:

“There can be a conflict between religious liberty and sexual liberty, but in almost all cases, the sexual liberty should win, because that’s the only way that the dignity of gay people can be affirmed in any realistic manner.”

Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender (LGBT) activists have bought politicians, the media and academia.

They shout down objective morality and now regularly use the force of government (and our tax dollars) to “normalize” deviant and destructive behavior and “punish” any who stand in their way.

Whether it is pushing homosexual pornography and transgender bathrooms to kids as young as kindergarten, or trying to drive Christians out of business, the LGBT community grows increasingly aggressive.

The LGBT movement has followed its plan to demonize traditional morality as documented in Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen’s 1987 article, “The Overhauling of Straight America” (“The Most Influential Essay You’ve Never Heard Of” at www.canonandculture.com).

Children are especially at risk from the LGBT attacks, as they want to be loved by their friends and others.

When all they hear and see on TV or at school is that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice that must be accepted and idolized, many feel pressured to either fall into the destructive lifestyle themselves or support this damaging choice in the lives of friends and family.

Many of those who should be standing in defense or our children instead are buying another one of Satan’s whispers that Christians are not allowed to stand up for Bible truths in public.

When liberals say that government should stay out of the personal lives of others, what they really mean is that only liberals should use the power of government to force their personal views on others.

The U.S. Senate even has a pending bill making LGBT a “foreign policy priority,” including a special State Department envoy.

Last week, the homosexual “pride” flag was officially flown with the American flag above the American embassy in Israel.

Politicians from President Barack Obama to local school boards support the attacks of homosexuals and their allies on the sacred institution of marriage and morality.

Outlaw judges are single-handedly overturning laws protecting the sanctity of marriage. So-called clergy write books lying about the Bible’s teachings on homosexuality.

They fail to understand that, like the loving Father He is, God warns us to protect us, not to “take away our fun.”

Treason does evoke a unique kind of horror.
I vividly remember when the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. It was certainly a gift from God to this nation, which was sacrificing itself in total mobilization against the Satanic forces of the Axis powers.
Millions of Americans in arms were poised to begin an invasion of Japan after the European war had been won, and perhaps a million would have lost their lives in what was sure to be the bloodiest campaign in history.
The bomb ended the Japanese resistance and the war, and we were on our knees in thanksgiving. With the atomic bomb, the world was sure to be safe for a long time to come.

...

Our present administration is bent on reducing American military power and diplomatic influence in the world. President Barack Obama has openly said that America has wielded too much power in the world.
He calls for “rich” nations to give up a big chunk of their riches to empower poorer countries, with a Utopian confidence that a family of nations would emerge in peace and cooperation.
There is justifiable suspicion that what he really seeks is an empowerment of Islam and its expansion of privilege and influence in America — this, even though nations where Islam rules are among the most dangerous and unstable regimes on earth.

Some people will tell you that fairies exist only in our imagination. Well, of course they do.
But how did we come to imagine them? What did we see in the early dawn of our childhood that made us think of the world as a place filled with fairies in the first place?
When the first story was ever told of fairies, why didn’t it just fall flat — because nobody recognized what was being described?
Why did the stories proliferate? What emptiness, what fascination, what desire, impels us to fall so easily under the spell of poetry and prose?
Why do children around the world believe in Tinkerbell, and believe that their belief empowers Tinkerbell to recover from what seemed like perishing, as we ourselves perish?

...

But after our scientific observation has banished all this sort of thing, there remain to be explained all the images of tiny, seemingly weightless, slim, graceful and beautiful little girl-like creatures flitting about on the moonlit lawns and woodlands of our memories

...

How many fairies are there? You need to learn one principle: We are not allowed to count fairies. You mustn’t even attempt it.
To do so would be to treat them as if they were just another part of the natural world, subject to our estimates, surveys, measurements and management like everything else.
That would be a grave error that might cause us to lose touch with them altogether.
Many people, insisting on banishing from their petty and uninteresting universes anything that can be neither scientifically observed or mathematically calculated, have indeed lost all touch with fairies. That’s why I feel so sorry for them.
To have lost the content of one’s own imagination is to have missed a valuable part of what the Creator has blessed us with.
Tragically, when I mention the Creator, some have lost touch with Him, too. They class Him with the fairies as the stuff of childhood fantasies.
They have cut themselves off not only from imagination, but also from rationality itself.
When the world is honestly and thoroughly examined by scientific method, and one fails to observe that every particle of it is pointing to something beyond itself, then science has been abandoned as well as belief.
The old Latin saying goes, “Finitum infinitum non capax.” That is, “The finite does not contain the infinite.” Our little understanding is unspeakably arrogant if it ever thinks that it has grasped the natural world.
This is not because the world is infinite — it isn’t. It’s because the world cannot be understood without recognizing its most salient characteristic, namely that it’s created.
The creature points to its Creator, not in imagination but in valid reasoning about the actual facts.
Fairies are important because they keep the door open for those supernatural creatures like the angels of God, whom Jesus said “neither marry nor or given in marriage.”
He said this of resurrected human beings, who after death and judgment “are like the angels in heaven,” who live eternally, and are not replaced by another generation.
Expel God from your universe if you choose. But in order to do so, you will have to expel everything that makes you human.
That’s a dreadful decision, that Jesus called the “outer darkness, where men weep and gnash their teeth.”

[Fundie is arguing against women in combat. To "prove" his point he uses a scenario in which Godzilla attacks the town. Yes, Godzilla.]
Ever the drama queen, Godzilla raises up to his full height, rears back and makes as if to give a great triumphant roar, but is embarrassed when an A-flat belch three octaves below the staff escapes that is heard and smelt a mile away.

Now if something is not done to stop Godzilla, he is going to flatten all the churches and restaurants in town, and when he can’t eat another bite, is just going to stomp on people the way a child stomps on bugs — just for fun.

So what is to be done?

It is possible that some stout-hearted woman will flip a great oak table, break a leg off, run up Godzilla’s back and beat him with it. It’s just not likely.

But if the people do survive, here is what will happen, and the reason for this was written on our DNA by the Unseen Hand — or happenstance, if you prefer.

Woman will gather up her children and without shame flee and hide if she can and fight if she must. The children expect this.

Her flight instinct is what keeps the race alive. She will not be parted from her children.

Man will first and foremost see to the immediate safety of his woman and their children and attempt to put them out of harm’s way, and his woman expects this. Everything else is secondary.

Simultaneously, he will be looking about him for other men to ally himself with, and he will do so with any man his instincts tell him can be trusted. Within the flatulent radius of Godzilla (or any other mortal danger) lifelong bonds of friendship can be welded in a moment.

This is male bonding in its purest form. It is the band around the band of brothers. It is real and critical if Godzilla is to be defeated, and women can’t do it. It is indeed a man thing, and woman is indeed male-bonding-solvent.

When his family is secure, he will depart with his friends to fight Godzilla.
