Anyone familiar with Obama’s radical background will find this Facebook post by author Jim Garrow as believable as it is terrifying:
I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new “litmus test” in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not”. Those who will not are being removed.
Garrow is a respected activist who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work rescuing baby girls from one-child China. His source is “one of America’s foremost military heroes.”
This certainly gives the urgent drive to disarm law-abiding citizens some perspective. It could also help us make sense of massive ammunition purchases by the increasingly frightening Department of Homeland Security.
According to the testimony of FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, the Weather Underground crowd that launched Obama’s political career estimated they would have to exterminate 25 million “diehard capitalists” to impose communism on America. This would be done at “reeducation centers” (a.k.a. concentration camps, gulags) in the time-tested oligarchical collectivist tradition.
In possibly related news, Obama is abruptly firing the head of Central Command, Marine Corps General James Mattis. General Mattis has been accused of asking too many questions regarding the Obama policy toward Iran. Could be he wasn’t willing to give the order Obama expects the next four years of Hope & Change to make necessary, and that the Oath Keepers are prepared not to follow.
Once the final pieces are in position, all that remains is for Obama to collapse the economy, Cloward-Piven style. A few more $trillion in wasteful spending should do the trick.

^Not a documentary.
Um, you do know who his sorce is, right? It's Oliver North. How would a man who resigned his commission in 1988 possibly be that far in the loop on what would be the most top secret policy in existence if it were true? Besides, if it were true, we would be seeing a mass exodus of command level officers, which is simply not happening. Just mother example of someone seeing what they really, really WANT to be true rather than any form of objective reality.
Where does the crap about DHS buying all this ammo come from? I've seen it in a lot of posts lately.
Ollie North? yeah, very credible.
"This certainly gives the urgent drive to disarm law-abiding citizens some perspective. It could also help us make sense of massive ammunition purchases by the increasingly frightening Department of Homeland Security."
If told that that citizen could be Muslim, Dave would change his mind so fast a loud bang would be audable for miles.
"25 million “diehard capitalists”"
This is America, more like 250 million.

It's a good thing the Republican controled Congress controls spending meassures in the Unites States.
@#1498899:
The DHS has tens of thousands of employees who are authorized to carry firearms. They are required to be trained in the use of their guns, and to have regular refresher courses and proficiency exams.
Ten thousand people times a few hundred bullets each equals millions of rounds of ammunition used for training each year. That's not counting the special training for such things as the Secret Service's protection details.
In total, the DHS buys something like 0.1% of all small arms munitions manufactured in the US. The US Army, being a far larger and better-armed organization, accounts for many percent of sales (as well as a much larger fraction of heavier munitions, obviously).
Somehow, the DHS' purchases are seen as part of a conspiracy, even though the accounting is relatively transparent.
This is stupid for a variety of reasons. First of all, the source is dubious to say the least. Second, even if it WAS true, that doesn't mean that he's preparing a hostile takeover, it could be a response to the very real threat of right-wing militia terror groups and Neo-Mazis, who commit about 4 times the amount of terror in the United States than Moslems do. Doesn't Waco come to mind?
@Anon
"Ten thousand people times a few hundred bullets each equals millions of rounds of ammunition used for training each year."
If I recall the research I did on this when it first surfaced, it's ~200,000 people x 292 bullets per training/refresher course x 4 courses per year.(very few are not required to go through that training, so it's a HUGE number of people using that ammo)
Or about 223 million rounds per year in training alone... and since the DHS also includes (among others) Customs, Border Patrol, Coast Guard and the freaking Secret Service, they're going to be using a lot of ammo during their daily business.
And you know what? That all assumes that none of them ever fail the courses... a lot of them do, and have to retake them with the corresponding amount of ammo being used.
In short, training takes up nearly all the ammo they bought... and only a complete fucking moron would ignore the facts for their insane beliefs.
General Mathis advocates a "smaller global footprint" for the military. Republicans should be dancing with joy that he's retiring. He's also been bugging civilian politicians to consider ALL the follow-on consequences of military action against Iran. Seems to me that's right in line with Obama's chess-player, look 4 moves ahead strategic mentality. It's possible that the guy just wants to retire after 40 years in boots.
J.James is right. Major Hassan, "Joey the Clown" Lombardo, Ted Kaczynski and Eric Rudolph are all American citizens who've killed a lot of people. Damn right I'd want to know if those under my command would kill them.
Name your source or you made that up.
There's a real confusion here between the radical libertarian left (Weathermen) and the authoritarian left (Soviet Russia).
Whatever you can say about the Weathermen, they probably weren't into setting up gulags.
Meanwhile, Obama in office has been very pro-business and very aggressive militarily.
Picture a monster, tall, strong, elegant, standing apart from the throng, looking every inch the leader. He is not alone, his faithful companion is also tall, a beautiful female, also strong yet elegant. They make a good match.
Picture the monster stalking across your TV screen, he seems very intelligent and comparatively Liberal. Do you hide behind the sofa? Or, quaking in your cushions, do you panic maniacally like an over-emotional keyboard thumper waffling about commies?
But wait! Gird your loins. Start praying, preferably out loud. Pour yourself a stiff one. You're probably alone, but if not, hold hands. Turn on all the lights. Go find your gun, a bomb if you've got one. For the monsters, already terrifying beyond anything your deranged imagination can fantasize about, the monsters are BLACK!!!!
You ejaculated all over yourself when the bush administration created the DHS. Why is it suddenly something you fear?
And, Ollie North... The traitor who covertly sold weapons to the enemy is no longer in the loop. Please take his particular brand of lunacy with a grain of salt.
@Rabbit of Caerbannog
By the way I call bullshit on this imbecile being a Nobel Peace Prize nominee.
If I recall correctly, everyone can send in a nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize, so that "title" doesn't mean anything...
EDIT: Something in my memory was nagging me about how I know this about the Nobel Peace Prize, and then I suddenly remembered:
Rush Limbaug had himself nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
Wikipedia-quote from the linked article:
Nominations for the Prize may be made by a broad array of qualified individuals, including former recipients, members of national assemblies and congresses, university professors (in certain disciplines), international judges, and special advisors to the Prize Committee. In some years as many as 199 nominations have been received. The Committee keeps the nominations secret and asks that nominators do the same. Over time many individuals have become known as “Nobel Peace Prize Nominees,” but this designation has no official standing.
(Emphasis mine)
I don't know who Jim Garrow is, but did you ever consider that he and "a former senior military leader" may not be unbiased sources?
@Filin De Blanc
"I wonder what Blount is going to do when no communist takeover of the US happens whatsoever."
Trumpet about how he was instrumental in stopping the evil communist takeover?
@Anon
Another problem is that a lot of people don't realize that there are more law enforcement agencies than are commonly noticed. Not to mention armed guards at government facilities. Even NASA has an armed law enforcement branch that conducts investigations.
"In November 1988, the Space Act of 1958 (NASA’s statutory charter) was amended to grant statutory federal arrest authority (FAA) to select NASA employees and contractors authorized to carry firearms. This authority is essentially identical to the authority of several other federal agencies whose primary missions are not law enforcement, so they can cope with indigenous criminal issues. Granting FAA to NASA’s contractors was a rare, but not unique, feature of the statute.
To satisfy NASA’s law enforcement and security training requirements, the NASA Federal Law Enforcement Training (NFLET) Academy was established at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), located approximately 30 miles east of Orlando on Florida’s Space Coast. The first cadre of instructors was sworn in June 1993, and since that time the Academy has graduated over 2000 students. Over 750 NFLET-certified officers are currently still serving NASA nationwide."
Confused?
