Civil wars start when one part of the population lives under a different set of rules than everyone else. That’s exactly what she’s helping create. Seems someone who wrote a book about it would know that.

You’re right in that civil wars happen when part of the country lives under entirely different laws in practice from the rest of it. But answer this: How can you say the law applies equally when anyone non-white can be patted down or detained without question while whites have their rights guaranteed? When someone can be chased out of any bathroom, including single occupant bathrooms, because someone else didn’t think they fit into a proper gender aesthetic regardless of “what’s in their pants” and any pervert can invade their privacy in the bathroom in the name of checking they’re in the “right” place? When the marriages of some are simply not recognized? When the religions of some are considered outright crimes? When people existing becomes a “political” issue? When it’s entirely legal to stifle, run over, and gun down protesters of some causes while another can parade down the street armed to the teeth? When there is one class to whom the law is entirely inapplicable, that can run for office with a criminal record, be found liable in a court of law for sexual assault, can openly shut down police investigations, can openly demand laws be broken to satisfy personal grudges and can tell the courts to their faces not only will they not be complying with any of their orders they can fuck themselves and look for new jobs then go on national television demanding judges and generals be hung?
Or you know, we could tone it down to the specific example of hiring illegals and ask why so many MAGA voting farmers who employed illegals seem to think they’re the victims now that their hostage workforce is missing but everybody else should still shut up and hire/buy American?
Tell me Mindy, if you get run over in the street while chanting how Jews will not replace you are you going to accept that you were blocking traffic? Will you accept being told you had it coming? Would you sit still if in the wake of you being run over your entire neighbourhood was put under a curfew and you were told to behave yourself until you could prove you deserved your rights?
