"I am a bit of a fan of the WBC. I would join it if they didn't also hate america"
Fred Phelps & co's brand of extreme fundyism is several levels above Calvinism: they believe only he & his 'family' will go to Heaven. So, I hate to break this to you pal, but because you're not a True Christian by their exacting standards, as far as they're concerned God Hates God's Warrior - thus from their point of view, you're going to HELL!
Still 'a bit of a fan of the WBC' now, eh?
"I'm sure he hates atheists most of all"
For the above reason, Fred is an Equal Opportunities Hater*. Therefore, like I say, he hates non-True Christians like you as much as we Atheists, and Homosexuals.
*- Even with the WBC, the old maxim rings true: dig down deep enough, and you'll find good in everyone. Fred & co. don't discriminate. They hate everyone!
@Shadow Boxer
Dave Allen FTW. His BBC TV series "... At Large" in the 70s was one of the main contributory factors in my becoming an Atheist. If his programmes haven't been shown in America, that wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. The way he'd savagely satirise religion, especially Christianity - Roman Catholicism above all, would've made US fundies have aneurysms. He was comedy's Richard Dawkins.
"Goodnight, thank you, and may your god go with you."
