On a side note, Mohamed did f*** a nine year old (but it was all ok, as he married her when she was 6 ;)), or so I have heard from a number of sources, including quotes from the Muslim's holy book. So, +1 for at least getting one thing right.

This is just a 10 year old. How fundy can a 10 year old be? I have no problems with kids being kids. It's when adults start acting like kids, and having fantasies about being a Marvel comic superhero with superpowers awarded by Jesus, that it gets disturbing.

Mohammad being a pedophile doesn't mean that all Muslims are pedophiles. I am surprised to see a fundie admitting that homosexuals aren't pedophiles, though. The interesting thing is that the majority of pedophiles are heterosexual, and generally are guys (or women) who you would find in your own neighbourhood...
I have discussed this with a number of educated muslims (discussing something like this with the wrong person could get one killed rather quickly unfortunately) and their opinion seems to be that Mohammad has been known to merry quite a few times (more then a dozen times in total) to build political alliances with other tribes in the region, and hitching a knot wasn't always to get laid. Though they quickly resort to less then logical arguments when I ask them why Mohammad, while limiting the number of wives for other muslims to 4, married 13 times himself?
