[Asked if he acknowledged the existance of Black Holes]
I really don't know about those. Until I do, though, and until someone shows me they somehow violate the Scriptures, I have no reason not to.
Therefore, I'll assume they exist --- for now.

It's been said many times, many ways: fundieism in a nutshell, screw objective reality and evidence, what do the Scriptures say?
@ Quantum Mechanic - because, and this doesn't violate the Scriptures, remember - because he might return from a parallel universe, weirder and scarier than before...
And, once again, you have confirmed that your scientific knowledge(and your literacy, for that matter)is not very solid and, therefore, your opinion is irrelevant.
Fun fact: the existence of stars as giant balls of gas violates Scripture, which says that they are tiny twinkling lights stuck to a solid dome.
If you don't believe the sky is a solid dome with mood lights stuck in it, you're a heretic!
(I wonder how he'd squirm out of that one...)
I do not believe in black holes. God is light, and light cannot escape a black hole. Therefore, God himself could not escape a black hole. How ridiculous is that!?!
Well, God could turn himself into Hawking radiation and thus escape. So there, nyah nyah nyah!
AV1611VET, you are, ironically, proof against both intelligent design and evolution.
On the one hand, you're proof against evolution in that I'm pretty sure no-one as stupid as you could have survived the process.
On the other, I can't imagine that any intelligent being would design you .
Thanks for utterly disproving both theories, you douche. Now I have to find myself another explanation for the universe.
AV has been grudgingly forced to accept as truth, something a scientist has discovered.
But he doesn't really want to.
Ah, so they exist for now, but if they ever go against the Bible they'll instantly wink out of existence?
"Reality under construction" award?

Darn it, you beat me to it!
BTW, here's a good summary of the structure of the universe as the Bible describes it, with a picture:

In the notes of my Youth Study Bible (KJV, natch), it stated clearly that in biblical times there was the belief that stars were angels. Nuff sed on the topic.
Holey Babble: Fails Every Time It's Tried.
Translation: I tried, and I tried to shoehorn a verse to disprove this, but couldn't find any, so I'll make it sound like it's a great honor for me to entertain those ideas...but it doesn't mean I'm not gonna stop looking.
Confused?
